To answer your question -- no there is no "package" that helps you get started. No two pools are ever going to be the same for a variety of reasons -- namely hardware and technical aptitude of the operators. almost every pool OP I know has had to scrounge through what little there is on google and the rest is all learned hands-on. going through these forums, you'll see shining examples of both the best and the worst of pools, which further supports this point. but the NUMBER ONE THING THAT DESTROYS POOLS IS SCALABILITY. If you can't scale the pool, you're going to have such a shitstorm of problems after you're going to wish you never started. so to reinstate -- no you can't find any real "tutorials" or "solve-all" solutions. the only main things I can suggest are:
1. create a scalable business model 2. insure that you have emergency plans in place to deal with all problems, such as DDoS, security, down-time, etc. as you can GUARANTEE that if you don't have a fully functioning pool, you'll have hundreds if not thousands of miners hunting you down trying to do everything they can to find fair compensation even if it means attacking the OP in some manner.
