What do you guys think of the image half-way down through the home page of http://usd-e.com ?  It's a little pixely (too optimised) - will fix that.. but does it 'fit in' in your opinion?

DON'T pay attention to the top of the page... all of that is being worked on by the WWW dev.  I'm just toying with a new image to replace the Eagle.

1) Negative ghost rider. Dashie does not approve of pixelated soul-less ginger staring to the left of the camera (A JOKE). But seriously, I'm not a fan of it.
2) Believe it or not, I've never actually used reddit, and only been on it like twice. I just made an account to post my USDe memes. Do I just post image URL as a comment on http://www.reddit.com/r/USDe/comments/1widqz/usde_coin_memes_graphics_prints/ ??

Thanks for your input.  The image next to coin specifications should feature people revolting, protesting, or a network of people... I don't want to use servers and the image of us being centralized / google website running types... thus scaring potential visitors away.  If someone has suggestions for an image we can use or buy let me know.

Benjamin Franklin- Honesty is the best policy is too small now, pink map? I can see the edges and some weird circles behind it, the buttons look flat, I dont like the picture of the all those people staring at who knows what...what are they protesting for? are they even protesting? some of them are smiling and look happy, seriously, what happened? did we told you that we didn't like the old site? I dont remember, I was fine with the previous version

A few things:
1) I have no idea how to use vanitygen but would like a personalized USDE address, any tips, or is it possible to have someone make one for me without handing my wallet over to them?

You would need to trust anyone creating such for you least a 100%.
When the person creates the address he also creates the privatekey that is an unique key that authorizes anyone who knows it to access coins sent to that specific address. The key cannot be changed afterwards keeping the address. And there is no way of knowing that did the person who created it destroy his copy of the key.

That being said, I'm 100% trustworthy and willing to generate and sell such a key with personal instructions (via chat/irc/pm) on how to import it into your wallet and after that completely destroy my copy of the key. PM if you believe me and want to discuss prices depending on the difficulty of the phrase you'd like to have.

Again, what you are seeing tonight is NOT what you will be seeing tomorrow.  I was looking for your input to replace the image of the eagle.  Looking for CONSTRUCTIVE feedback.  If we are to attract a wider audience, we do not want to associate the USDe with the U.S.A. and American flags -- as this may scare some visitors away.  The image I have there of the people 'staring' was an idea of protest or revolt against the system.  There are probably better images out there to represent the idea.  

As far as protesting against what?  I'm not sure that you've been following what USDe stands for, but we're here to turn on its head, established norms of economic and monetary policy.  This involves voting (i.e. PROTESTING) with your FIAT.

Updates from USDe Development Team:

1. Mac Wallet - by popular demand, the Mac Wallet has been recompiled into a friendlier, *.dmg file format. The current wallet supports 10.8 & 10.9 Mavericks.  Links have been updated on this thread at the Web Site.  A version for 10.7 Mac OS X should be released tomorrow.

2. Android Wallet - There was a bit of an unscheduled delay, but we should be able to publish to Google Play Store by Friday.  

3. Redesigned Web Site will be launched by mid-day tomorrow, possibly early on in the day.  Everyone's input has been taken into consideration, however if you have some good ideas for laying out useful information in different sections, please pass along in e-mail to team@usd-e.com. The getting started video will be annotated on youtube, and re-created once we have released our own USDe-skinned wallet.

4. We know of at least one big exchange, which will be adding us in the near future.  This is based on a conversation with the exchange admin.

5. We are reading and following all of the valuable suggestions submitted by this amazing community.  If we don't get back to you in a day or so, please ping us by e-mail, as we are tens of pages deep in private messages.  Based on a very unique suggestion, we are working hard to bring you a MAJOR viral promo, which has not been done before.  This promo *should* put us in sights of the main stream (or some call them dinosaur these days) - media.  

6) We are in active talks with a U.S. based fiat to USDe purchase & sales service.  

7) First blog articles will be published in the near future, likely tomorrow or Friday.  Blogs will be meant to be shared and distributed as widely as possible, to draw returning traffic for education, entertainment and of course fiat-to-USDe conversion!
