40 minutes of 5mh/s mining wasted. I swear to god i got 0 coin. Talk abt fair.
Wallet wouldnt catch up. Pools credited not 1 coin.
This is crap really.

And btw. pooligans should be banned. I m sure they stole our hashrate to mine something else.
Fucking scammers.

Why are you all freaking out? I have had zero problems solo mining once I got everything configured properly.

I suggest that you all learn how to properly set up your system to solo mine so you don't have to rely on pools during a coin launch.

There shouldn't even BE any pools for at least a few hours into a coin launch. They cause inevitable forks and ACTUALLY kill coins.

PROTIP: THE OP SOLO MINING INSTRUCTIONS WERE INCORRECT

BYE BYE, IM BACK TO MINING DOGE. USDE IS WASTE OF TIME

+1

mine 30min on pooligans  Could not find any transaction !!!!!
+ 1 COIN DEAD

+2 couldn't even mine this shit on their #1 listed pool, wasn't able to solo either

BACK TO DOGE

I could sure use a donation to help out someone who mined at Pooligans but got ZERO, ZIP, NADA, Too bad, looked like coin had promise. Looks like the pool owners effed this one up big time!!!

Had 2 other pools as failovers but when Pooligans went down cgminer skipped both of those and went back to Digibyte. WORST POOL MINING EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DEVS DID YOU NOT ASK THESE POOL OWNERS IF THEY HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO HANDLE MORE THAN 5 PEOPLE?

VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS MANGLED LAUNCH. WISH IT HAD WORKED!

No more than a week ago I was able to solo mine a few blocks in coin launches with my radeon gpu, but recently it's only rejected/orphans in _every_ launch. What has happened?
Large GPU farms, remote controlled BOTNETS and coding a slow rise in difficulty within the coin specs. so unless your physically close to the main nodes your blocks are orphaned before there even mined. This makes pools go a bit nuts on low difficulty since the wallet and pool database has to process a couple of blocks in less than a second.

all accepted blocks 100% orphaned as usual.

so please stop the crap about fairness guys, if you want a crypto to have the slightest chance to be slightly "fairly" distributed for even few minutes, DO NOT ANNOUNCE IT BEFORE LAUNCH, period.

PoW currencies are heading towards being the same in practice as all these IPO/pre-invest coins. Professional megafarms mine the coins and hobbyists/small timers have to buy the coins from them if they wanna take part. It's gonna be like it is in the real world, 1% has 90% of the wealth. You can stop talking about fairness and people's money etc when it comes to cryptos imo.

What was incorrect?

The .conf file was missing a required parameter and he didn't instruct how to set up your wallet as a server so you can actually mine to it.
Any mining you do to a wallet that's not set up properly will get orphaned.

scrypt mining is always the same setup. Don't assume OP knows what they're doing.

C'mon guys, we do this every day.
