the new BLOC GUI Wallet is not compatible with the old .wallet files format from the previous BLOC GUI Wallet 2.0.2. You need to use private keys to import your wallet and everything will be ok. The new file format for the wallet is .money. The password you have setup using the OLD BLOC Wallet client software protect the wallet.dat file

As long as you have your private keys you will be able to restore your wallet no matter if you know the password or not.
Private keys is the most important data to save and restore your wallet.

The password function on the new BLOC Electron Wallet v3 is only used to protect a wallet.money file from opening/using it

Just gave this a try since Hashvault pro added merged mining with saronite. So im mining them both. Demon is downloading the blockchain, gonna try after that the GUI wallet. But so far i got to say, i like what im seeing. The graphics are nice. and i ca always get more coin from TO, since the price is so low now.

 I have the same problem, no idea what to do. I have just created the wallet from my private keys and it just doesn't connect. Running as administrator.

In my case it was due to Antivirus/Firewall software. Try adding Bloc wallet to whitelist and try then.
