How about solo mining in Qubit-qt.
When I launch a server, I can mine only on pc when the qubit-qt is running or I can mine with all my computers, connected to server machine?
You get merit points when someone likes your post enough to give you some. And for every 2 merit points you receive, you can send 1 merit point to someone else!

Both should work. Please see the first post.

How many people are still solo mining?

I would hope quite a lot. I'm getting several blocks per day on my desktop (AMD FX8350) using qubit-cpuminer (as found in the first post). (The built in miner is slower.)

In case anyone is unclear on how to do that:
./minerd -a qubit -o http://127.0.0.1:7799 -u QubitCoinrpc -p <from your conf>

Obviously if you changed the port or user in your conf you need to use what you set them to, but those are the defaults. (Well, they were the defaults for me, but I probably managed to do something unusual. minerd will give an error if you get it wrong at least.)

Maybe the community should consider some giveaway to promote the coin, like one vote of Crypsy  for 10 coins. Smiley

Guys I would keep solo mining if you have a decent CPU. I'm still getting 1-3 blocks a day on both my rigs.

Hope we get another exchange soon -- the poloniex site is pretty slow and hardly usable most of the time.

Seems more people are getting on board with the difficulty adjustment... I brought in 3 friends mining so far myself Smiley

The coin was made as the most loyal and honest in relation to any user as a novice and master! We just have to maintain it and continue its development!

this coin is very young to be so fast to get a few exchangers! At the moment, we must pay attention to the circulation coin purses and more transactions, more services can be a game, I almost did store payment system

look at the forum to look at Digue. we have community! Everyone is waiting for the developer - but for what? he can give you?

Thank you that worked! ...

so the config file that comes with the wallet and the addnodes listet on the frist page are outdated/useless.
doesn't gives me a good feeling for that coin

when launching the client it uses the qubitcoin.conf from the .../roaming/... directory (look the dir from the guide)

to point it to a different datadir/qubitcoin.conf use this..
QubitCoin-qt.exe -datadir=c:\qubitcoin

and placing the active nodes helps a lot.
