I just leave that here

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they keep laughing, then they start choking on their laughter, and then they go and catch their breath. Then they start laughing even more.

Probably because there was a recent attack on the chain, causing lot's of spam on the harddrive. SolidCoin folders were getting  up to 4.5GB in size. This is exploit is fixed in the newest version.

thats pretty common with all the clients.
They connect to an irc server which is something a lot of trojans do.
they make a lot of connections, which is something a trojan would do

When a virus scanner says "probably blah blah" you can tell it's using heuristics (ie it's guessing). Most p2p clients get detected as such.

Try SolidCoin or talk with other SolidCoin supporters here SolidCoin Forums

I realize that it probably is a false positive, yes. But it would qualify as a poor hack (as of poorly patched code) to even get to this point.
None of the other clients have this issue.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they keep laughing, then they start choking on their laughter, and then they go and catch their breath. Then they start laughing even more.

"Solidcoin contains malware" ... again a Lie posted as a Fact.
Are you stupid or just desperate to damage the Reputation of Solidcoin ?

The fool who knows his foolishness, is wise at least so far.
But a fool who thinks himself wise, he is called a fool indeed.

It's only a lie if the poster has deliberate intent to deceive. You can't be sure of the posters intent and it's highly likely that solidcoin does trigger anti-virus alerts seeing as bitcoin does too.

I'd rather not edit the topic.

I make no secret about my dissympathy towards solidcoin.
