Man that result messed up my accumulator, and by a own goal as well. I knew that it would be a tight game, and really thought a draw was on the cards. I guess it wasn't to be. Well let's just hope my other two accumulators come in.

Iran actually have a few hidden gems among the rough, and even though you could argue they were outclassed they defended fairly well. It's that defense I thought would of hold out from the barrage of Moroccan attacks. I guess I was right on that, but in no way did I see them actually winning the tie.

Uruguay 1:0 Egypt. Suarez and co wasted quite many good momentsto score, but they managed to score late goal.
Iran 1:0 Morocco. Biggest surprise so far. Morocco started very intensive and dominated through whole match. But goalkeeper of Iran had a great match and he didn't let to score. Morocco player scored nice own goal. Now Morocco can forget their dreams about reaching next round. I predicted 1:1 and I'm not happy about the result, as most of us here
Portugal 3:3 Spain. Best match to watch so far. Didn't expected such high scoring game. De Gea didn't best match today... And Nacho - what a goal! Spain dominated, but Ronaldo showed masterclass again. Another bad match in predictor for me.
Tomorrow 4 matches will be played. I predict that France, Argentina, Denmark and Croatia will winn, but I so fa didn't predicted final scores.
And FIFA website sucks - it's impossible to login so often

After the insta football troll joke which is fully understandable for the night game I think it was an excellent game to watch with an impressive Cristiano Ronaldo which alone lead Portugal to not lose the game against a really good Spain if we compare it with 4 years ago when they were eliminated since in the group stage. Yet I got 0 points from 2 latest games of today so being in the last positions of the bitcointalk league so far.

I would say the match between Portugal and Spain is much more entertaining than the previous match Morocco vs Iran, the whole game was much more fast paced and there was a lot of attacking from both sides, as I expected, Cristiano Ronaldo had to carry the whole Portugal team in order to force a draw against mighty Spain with a late equalizer, I wish I could predict the scoreline correctly for this match to obtain more points since my prediction is a draw.

I've watched all the games so far and the quality between them all and the Spain/Portugal game was stark. Made the others look like Sunday football really. I'm sure it will probably be the best game during the group stage and there's probably not really any others I'm looking forward to that much. I wonder how far Portugal can go? I'd love to see them play Argentina at one point. If Portugal and Argentina finish first they will likely meet in the quarters assuming they both pass the round of 16. I'd love to see them in the final but I don't think Ronaldo and co can go that far, but they lucked out on the Euros so who knows.

It's a real shame about the Iran game for both of us. I have one accumulator left that I had the draw on but it's a ridiculously long one I put 5p on lol. Three games have come in so far but all the rest are mostly strong favourites (I need France, Argentina and Croatia tomorrow).

Yeah, I'm going to need to make a few more accumulators after getting shafted by that game. Good news is I've already profited from a few other shorter accumulators from the other matches. This particular one that I got shafted on was a pretty long shot too, but it's just the manner of how it ended rather than getting the prediction outright wrong.

And I hope Greizmann doesn't score, for obvious reasons.  That French is squad looking really good tho.  Should be fun.

Well I feel only happy for Griezmann goal Also need a win from France in today's accumulator. Umtiti really awarded a stupid penalty to get Australia back in but Pogba managed to squeeze another one in so I am hoping that is enough for the win.

We will see what Meesi can do in few hours time.

dang can't predict a match correctly haha , I had france to win 1-0 actually so the winner is correct and the goal difference is correct as well but can't guess the correct score
the penalties made both of the teams score , I was really expecting 1-0 and took Australia +1.5 with max units bet
but good thing it's the first profitable match for me in the world cup since all the previous ones went so wrong for me

moving forward to Argentina vs Iceland , I have BTTS that I was able to catch at X3.02 last week on pinnacle which I do believe it has value ( odds dropped to below X2.5 now )
also I have O2.5 for this match at X1.96
so basically I'm expecting 2-1 or 3-1 for Argentina

Yup...  With an assist from Giroud who France should have started imo.  And Messi hat trick coming next yo!  

Btw, I'm getting points that I shouldn't have cos I'm having the same prediction with the hilandco account.  I think the 'friend challenge' thing should be disabled.  I should be -76.

Damn France I had 3-1 and they had a few chances in the last minutes. I was watching the game with some friends who love football as much as I do and we think that France played with the live odds a lot. We did won a bet tbat we put when livescore was 1-1 and odd for France was 2.62 , we won 162 Eur out of 100 Eur bet. Great start of the day but missed correct result for our betting pool here.

Great start of the day but missed correct result for our betting pool here.

yo i'm doing so bad in this pool that I've lost all hope in the Match Predictor  at least i'm getting some sweet profits from my own bets.

not me...could be a bug in your acc maybe? but @hilariousetc should look into this, if it's happening to other users and they're getting random points even though they got the result wrong, well...that sucks

I'll look into the points situation later, but are you sure you're not looking at the player vs player table or you didn't get extra points for the bonus questions? The website and app are a piece of shit though.

Yes they do, meanwhile I am enjoying the last place of the tournament . I will stick to my guts though and continue to insist with my crazy ideas and not common results. I hope these will pay back in the end but it is too early to say that. For the moment last of the moicans .

Predictor has some crazy way of giving points. I got 33 points for prediction of France to win 2:0 over Australia and correct bonus question. Then I got 74 points for prediction that Argentina will win 2:0 and didn't enter bonus question.

To recap, I got more points for missing completely then for getting correct winner and correct bonus answer??? We will have to check the scoring rules for this one carefully. I believe they are somewhat based on the number of players that picked the same score but that is just a hunch.

I got 12 points for prediction of France vs Australia 3-1 for France so probably the points are awarded in base of the final result, which one of the predictions is the most near the actual result gets points in base of such calculation. It is a mess as hilarious said but for me is working normally I only got Uruguay and France as wins but not with correct results so I don't see any wrong doing here. I didn't touch and I don't know where the bonus question is.

Edit: I checked now and got 25 for Uruguay and 3 for France. 28 in total and not 12 for France.
