I wrote this service to split my bitcoin mining profits with friends.
You can take a look at real life example https://coinsplit.io/scheme/3/ where we share profits from mining on eligius pool.

Schemes also could be private, so you don't need to show your addresses to whole world, but it could be useful.
Currently it's free. We only charge 0.0001 for Bitcoin fee. Default payments threshold is 0.01, but you can customize it.

I hope this tool will be useful for Group buy admins. It will allows them to provide transparency and instant payments.
If you have doubts, checkout testnet.coinsplit.io this mirror works with bitcoin testnet.
Please take a look and give me some response, thanks.

Most definitely useful, albeit even better with LTC. Open source?

Probably we can launch separate instance for LTC, like the one we already have for https://testnet.coinsplit.io. I will take a look.

Yes we have plans to open source it after the beta.

I've started to use this service a couple of days ago, and it does it's intended purpose easily and reliably.

However, I for one don't have complete confidence in the security, there's just a password protection, and that's it.
If someone gains access to an account, they can easily change the forwarding address without you knowing.
If our accounts could be secured with 2FA, that would really be a whole lot better!

Only other "complaint" I have (and this is really nitpicking), is that it's impossible to set a share to 0.
For instance, if I have a scheme which splits the incoming funds to 2 addresses: I have 2 shares of 50.
If I would want to temporarily send all funds to one of those addresses, I have to delete the other one.
It would be easier to just set the share size of the wallet you wish to ignore for now, to 0.

Come to think of it: there is one more thing: I can't delete old schemes which are no longer in use.

But that's even less of an issue, just a little annoyance.

I would be happy to donate some coins if this could be resolved!

I've updated the serivice. Now you can signin/signup using Google auth.

To add Google to the existing profile you should:
- open profile page
- click Manage connections link
- push Add Google Account button.

Now, if you have F2A enabled in you google account, you can use it to login to coinsplit.

Yes, you can login with the google account and 2FA, but it's still possible to login with the coinsplit account itself, without 2FA.

Generate 100 characters random password and forget it immediately. Smiley
Or create new account using Google from the very beginning

Coinsplit had just turned two years! More than 3000 BTC was transferred through the service in 10 000 transactions.

Take a look at this perfect example hot to use it - https://coinsplit.io/scheme/554/ - just send some coins to Wallet and they will be distributed among organisations, like maps.org, wikileaks.org, bitcoinnotbombs.com automatically.
