A $4000-$5000 BTC in 2014?  I don't think so IMO.
I expect that in 3-5 years.
I think (and hope) there will be steady avg 5% growth per month for BTC.

The most exciting prospect for me in 2014 will be WDC (WorldCoin).

What for wie need a worldcoin Ehen THW excellent earthcoin alreafy exists :p

I hope that the price will remain around 1000$ till end of this year, but the 4000-5000$ / btc is a dream IMHO.

BTW, is it planned for introduce a smaller change of BTC? I'm fed up with calculating always small fractions. It would be better to introduce bitcoin cents, as a 1BTC = 1000 bitcoin cents, or even more.

That's happening already with mBTC, uBTC, and satochi. Which are respectively 0.001BTC, 0.000001BTC, and 0.00000001BTC.

Set you client to show you mBTC instead of BTC. Almost every client supports this.

Great list of predictions - I especially hope you are right about the future BTC price 

The only one I disagree with is the alt coin prediction.

If anything, there will be more successful alt coins by the end of this year than in any previous years.

It's a diverse ecosystem and people have been saying alt coins would be dead for a very long time and now look, we have many very successful alts such as PPC, LTC and DVC.
