Hey Guys,


is it possible:

1x 1100w Aerocool Strike-X 1100W

for System:

AMD® Athlon II X2 270 3.4GHz
Corsair Vengeance 8GB
3x Sapphire r9 290x


or is the PSU  to low?

IMHO, 1100 watts is pushing it and too low, leaving you no room at all when considering the overall average 80% load.

Agreed.  That PSU has 1080W on the 12v rail, it leaves you with very little wiggle room, but it is doable (not recommended).

You want a 1300 watt PSU minimum.

FWIW, I have 3 r9 290's on an EVGA 1000w PSU, and my killowatt meter says 999-1030W at the wall.  Given at 100% usage, the psu is 87% efficient, that means the 3 cards + mobo+proc +1stick of ram = 870W or so.  If the 290x is similar, you will be fine.

1250w ocz gold for mb sempron 145 , 4gb ram , a noob hdd + 3x gpu
1000w ocz gold for 3x gpu is it ok  Huh

if you have an 1100W in hand then try it...if your shopping for a psu go bigger.

if you go with a sempron, and undervolt GPUs, and use SSD, and power supply is gold+ rated, it could be OK, but it depends
