To upgrade your account to the next level as you already a jr.member needs 10merits. And I guess you understand how the merit system works. You gotta post quality comments or post in the opinion of senior forum members before they can share their Smerits with you.

After 30 days with 30 activities ,your rank from Newbie go up to Jr.member. You should make good post to get merit.

You could have read the forum before asking how to rank up to get higher bounty reward or anything else a higher rank is needed for.

In addifion to this you need to have a certsin amount of merit too to get a higher ranking, this starts from the "member" rank. You will need to have activity 30 and at least a merit of 10 to grow from "jr. member" to "member" for instance.

First thing you need to if you are hoping to rank up in the forum is to make yourself as knowledgeable as you can. You cannot be someone who posts constructive ideas without having those knowledge first. Afterwards, you can start posting and start analyzing how the merit system works. Before, activities are the only requirement in order for you to rank up but now that the merit system showed up, it is much harder to increase your rank. We cannot hate on the merit system, it is an effective way to assure that only those who are deserving should rank up and those who do not take things here seriously should stay on what they are right now.

Technically, the OP opened the thread in 2018, so he should know how to rank-up by now, … were it not for the fact that he was banned (presumably ages ago) …

The thread bumper (4 posts up from your post) would nevertheless be the intended beneficiary right now (plus any other reader who is oblivious on the ranking-up requirements), but so far no move in the recommended direction (180º swerve from bounties, or at least fork posts between bounties and forum engagement).
