This is a good opportunity to recommend nearlyfreespeech.net - they are a really nice host that I used a while ago. The idea is rather than a monthly fee, you pay for what you use, by the cent. Very good for very small, not often visited websites. Do these people accept Bit coin? No, which is a shame. I've noticed they tend to be harsh on extraneous features in their writing. I imagine it's because they only want to do the hosting job, not marketing or extensive support (which is why they encourage technically-minded customers). But their feature offering will cover most sites, and the system isn't hard to use if you do a quick search on something you don't understand.

Why not use 110mb.com which is free I am pretty sure there are also many good free hosting plans out there! Also, you can also use dropbox to host some basic stuff... google it.

Does 110mb still work ? Since RocketForceMedia'a takeover from Andre, the service has only degraded. Its sad to see the forum, where I learnt web dev, is now vanished... http://www.110mb.com/forum/

HostBandit provides unlimited $1 web hosting and will accept Bitcoins. http://hostbandit.comWe have fast servers that aren't overloaded and DirectAdmin is superior to cPanel because it's written in pure C++ (faster) and it's super easy to use. Currently we haven't added a Bitcoin option to the order page so email sales@hostbandit.com.

We do provide web hosting at $1/month accept BTC checkout www.hosticon.comadditionally enjoy 30% discount for 1st year. Checkout our blog post at http://www.hosticon.com/blog/hosticon-com-now-accepting-bitcoin-payment/I am looking for very cheap web hosting, preferably $1/month or less. I know I can find deals like these on WebHostingTalk, but I prefer to pay in BTC if possible.
Before you start complaining, all I need is hosting for very low traffic static webpages. I don't want to pay for bandwidth or disk space that I will not use. Pay as you go plans are good.
If anybody can recommend me some providers, that would be great!

Related question; If your site doesn't have that much bandwidth, isn't it easy for people to DDOS it and then it's reached its' limit?

i think hes just after a parking site really and most times when a small site gets ddosed it falls on its ass that quick it dosnt rack up much bandwidth usage as the websites been knocked offline
