Whatever sphere you’re working in, the marketing team will handsomely contribute to the success of your blockchain project. While bringing in a well-known and experienced CMO is a smart move, the question is how to choose other members. Our answer: prepare your own specialists. Based on our experience at assetrush.com, we’ve come up with some handy tips on how to do that.

1. There is no failure, only feedback

To err is human, especially if your staffer is just entering the profession. Especially in such quickly-developing and vibrant fields as blockchain and ICOs. So be advised that at the beginning there will be mistakes; what’s important is how you deal with them. 5. Networking

Blockchain conferences and events are great places where your employees can improve their knowledge, learn about the latest advances, and exchange opinions with other professionals. In the last several years the number of such events has skyrocketed, so finding one and sending a member of your marketing department shouldn’t present a lot of trouble.

Great post and I agree with all of the points mentioned. I don't think you listed the items in any particular order, but if I was to have a go at ordering I would probably put no. 5 networking as my number 1 priority. This is especially true if you are recruiting marketeers from a 'non-blockchain' background so to speak. I think being in and around the blockchain space (by which I mean meetings, events, conferences, webinars etc.) extensively during staff training/induction will certainly speed up the overall on boarding process, and help expose the subtle differences between blockchain and mainstream marketing.

I think there is always the temptation to outsource marketing activity to individuals and companies already specialising in blockchain, at least still for now. But I personally think in order to accelerate mainstream adoption, we should aim to recruit from the widest possible talent pool and share knowledge, practices and ultimately successes across industries.

I really like the first point you made also, 'There is no failure, only feedback'. I think I need to record this and play it back to myself before I go to sleep each night!  Grin
