Constant lockups when switching Raspberry Pi from BEs to Antminer U1

Had a very stable Rasperry Pi setup with a D-Link DUB-H7 powered hub and 4 block erupters.  I have now switched to 1 antminer U1 and can't make 24 hours without a lockup of the Pi.

Here is my string: sudo ./cgminer/cgminer --bmsc-options 115200:20 -o www.url.com:port -u username -p password -bmsc-freq 0781

CGMiner is the friggered 3.8.5 version

Any help is appreciated.
