Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

AFAIK there shouldn't be a difference as long as you are using the same client for both. What client are you using?

Which wallet client? If it's for some small alt coin that only provides a Windows binary then the program you need is a compiler.

If you're using the reference client Bitcoin Core, you can just copy the wallet.dat file from the Windows machine to the Mac machine.

Other clients, you may be able to import private keys.

Which client are you using?
