Levitate Wallet Update

The Levitate Wallet has been updated from v0.15.2 to v0.17.0.1.
Changes can be looked up in the Bitcoin changelog https://bitcoin.org/en/version-history

Before you update, always make a back-up of your old wallet and safeguard your password.
Only after you have done that, you download the latest versions on https://levitatecoin.org/index.php/wallets and install.

IMPORTANT: The Levitate Webwallet system will go offline December 1st 2018.
The system is incompatible with v0.17.0.1 and we noticed there are only 25 users with a LVT balance larger than 1 LVT using it.
Please remove your Levitate Webwallet funds from https://webwallet.levitatecoin.org before December 1st 2018.
You can use a downloadable Levitate wallet or easily create an LVT address on https://start-ex.com/trade/LVT_BTC to move your funds to.

My question is whether the developer is planning to change specifications and include a proof of stake (PoS) system for the interests of coin holders? Or are there any restrictions in this sense for Levitate Coin? Thank.

Information about Levitate Mining

The miners are happily hammering LVT again. Currently the Levitate Network is running at 7.11 GH
In the past months many asked us how they could mine LVT.
At this moment it makes no sense to try to mine with a CPU or GPU as that would be a total waste of energy.

To mine LVT, you now need special mining hardware called "ASIC" miners to make it worthwhile.
If you like to explore the world of mining, Futurebit is a good place to start.
Futurebit is a quality supplier of nicely priced miners, they ship worldwide and they provide all the information you need to get started.
You can visit the Futurebit website here: https://www.futurebit.io/

Thank you for your work on Levitate Coins. For the FutureBit Project Apollo , you can read and discuss on the forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4974036.0

Coming soon

A great idea to update the logo of the coin, I think there will be those willing to participate here and this will attract additional attention to Levitate (LVT) which will undoubtedly benefit the project. Smiley

Update: Dev One is fighting a big challenging battle to get Levitate on par with the latest bitcoin code, which is a marvelous thing once accomplished.
You might have noticed the Levitate mining pool stuttering and transaction confirmations currently lagging. We apologize for that.
Sometimes you need to go down to get up.
Please have patience with us and keep LVT transactions limited until we have navigated out of this storm straight onto the sunny sandy beaches with nice music and fine cocktails.

the wallet is not synchronized
The developer also indicated in the post above that there is a lag with the network and they solve this problem. We hope that they will be able to do it as soon as possible, you just need to be patient.

This is the 1st step in a 2-step update proces, we expect the 2nd and final update to be available next week,
but for now it is important as many as possible LVT wallets get updated to today's version.

Levitate coins are for buying specialized blockchain services that can be exchanged for rinse tokens for use in laundry. No utility other than that for levicoins. The culture of losing money requires that u borrow money from the people u trust to loss them in a field where most of the tokens of this nature find appliance. Money needs to be converted between different financial planes before it can finally be lost.

The miner running for LPvKtQGD38qWbsq58CAL4HQ1LNS3CBwyVH is probably connecting to the wrong miningpool port as its efficiency is dropping from 100% to 80% all the time. That is a waste; if this is your miner, please check and adjust its mining port, it should probably be 3456 or otherwise 3256 . See: http://85.214.88.103/workers

The Levitate Team apologizes for the delay.
There were some wallet and blockchain issues that needed fixing.
Thanks to Dev One these issues will be fixed.
We look forward to bring you some good news tomorrow.

Levitate Wallet Update

The Levitate Wallets have been updated today. Please update your wallet.
Before you update, always make a back-up of your old wallet and safeguard your password.

It is important you make a clean start with the new wallet.
You can do this by only keeping these files:

wallet.dat
levitate.conf
mempool.dat
banlist.dat
peers.dat

and removing all other files and folders in the Levitate roaming folder before you install the new wallet.

In Windows you can find these files and folders by clicking Start or going to the Windows 8 Search charm, typing %appdata% , and selecting the Roaming folder. There you will find the Levitate folder.

In iOS go to Finder, click Menu Go and select option Go to folder and there you type: ~/Library/Application Support/Levitate/ and then you click Go. There you will find the Levitate folder.

In Linux, go to the folder where you installed Levitate.

You can download the latest Levitate wallet version on https://levitatecoin.org/index.php/wallets
