There is a 5% fee on Pool.PXLCoin.com Huh Are they mad? 5% is definitly too much, i advise you to mine on another pool.

EDIT: Mining on http://pxl.minar.cc now, which has only 1% fee. Works flawless.

We raised it so people would switch to Minar or other pools - once the hash is balanced we will lower it Smiley

Speaking of pools - PXL.bitember.com has been updated so mine away!

Keep updating clients everyone!

and if it says just "v0.8.6.2" ?

fyi i did a git pull on the source
then ran qmake ; make
as usual
using linux

by popular demand Upgrading to new client.

The New client will introduce KGW and will require everyone to upgrade. (QT download will be posted on main page by trip shortly)

PXLs will carry over and be safe, this will just allow a more steady creation rate long term

Download v0.8.6.2-g178d57f QT win32

Upgrading is pretty much the standard practices:
1. Shut down current QT client if running
2. Wait a minute for the dbs to close
3. Backup wallet.dat or better yet zip up the entire pixelcoin directory and store someplace
4. Download and run the new client.
5. Click help ->about PixelCoin -> Version should show: v0.8.6.2-g178d57f
6. Make sure you are on 8.6.2 before sending any PXLs (after the switch to KGW) !
7. Older clients will eventually not be able to send PXLs, but they wills till work in the new client so please update as soon as you can.

Trip will be posting new binaries (QTs) shortly, or use:

Download v0.8.6.2-g178d57f QT win32

These pools have already upgraded: Please Spread hash

Yep 8.6.2 and you should sync up, the git commit just shows which source was used, and it may not show in all builds. (In this win qt build it does for debugging purposes if we need to do a quick patch )

Hey guys, I made a lot of btc's from buying Unobtanium a long time ago and sold it recently at its highest peak of 29. I am interested in this coin as I have done my research. I am either reinvesting 50% of my earnings on this coin or Astro coin.

My decision will be at 2pm today. If anyone can answer me where they think the coin is heading to ($) value and why, if convinced I will pump this coin. (And hold)

Thank you,

If you need help with the website I am also a programmer.

I sent coins from old wallet to new updated wallet address but no coins Old wallet would not update after up to 34 hours ago but I sent coins anyway to new wallet (from Windows to Mac qt). Status is unconfirmed but broadcast through 8 nodes 1 of 6 confirmations after wallet update but not going anywhere after 30-40 min.

Are the coins gone now to the ether? Not sure how to recover!

Please help

Bad judgement but I sent an hour ago...before updating the wallet. Then after updating the wallet about 30 min ago, the transaction was confirmed (1 of 6) but seems stuck...been there at least 45 minutes now. I'm afraid the coins would be sent to pre-fork blocks? if this is even possible and lost into ether!?

It was over 1000 coins. I have transaction ID ... would this make a difference?

EDIT - Coins arrived to new wallet! Just needed a bit of time....

This coin will serve a purpose in the very near future.  Google how many of the population smoke weed.  Also look at the fact of how many states in the USA are legalizing it.  The devs are putting a lot of time and work into the futer of POTcoins.  Get onboard now before it's too late  Grin

EDIT:  I have ALL of my profit into POTcoins.

Glad you got your coins!  Anyone out there on the old client please update to 8.6.2 before you send any coins (available in original post). Yes they are safe and will carry over to the new client.

Excellent work on the client.

What's the plan with exchanges? Which is next?
Got 2 in the bag... let's focus on the next one. Or all of them at the same time.. heh.

I've contacted poloniex with the request to add yesterday.
"How can I get such-and-such coin listed on Poloniex?
Send us an email and tell us about your coin. There is no set of rules, but we like to see evidence of the developers' dedication to the project, community interest, and, more than anything, innovation. If your coin is truly innovative in some way, it is more or less guaranteed to be accepted by Poloniex. "
From their site ^^^

The more people that request the better. Anyone from the community can help us get listed.

It's showtime. Can take it from 60k cap to 600k.

- It's Original and old school at the same time. How you ask? This : http://www.pxlcoin.com/ . Crazy eh? You can stake your claim on internet crypto real estate for all history.
- It's got a low market cap for a large % increase potential. So lot's of people can actually make a nice investment. AND It's already on CMC - http://coinmarketcap.com/all.html
- It's past the point of maturity where the amount mined per day will not negatively affect price. No dumping. No pre-mine.
- It's got a great team. And they updated the client to add KGW.
- It's got 260+ votes already on Freshdesk! -- https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/72797/page/last#post-189361

Ok Fearcoka.  I'll bite.

Astro has no gravity well.  Needs work on code to bring it up to standard.  Absentee developer.

PXL is solid with Kimoto, good community, and strong selling point:  A different conceptualization of what an alt is/can be.

I think other members of the community mentioned a valuation of $1/PXL?  That seems a realistic goal considering the above.

I hold a small stake in half dozen or so alts that I believe can achieve 10x gains in the near future.  PXL is one.

The block explorer unfortunately is still down.

I have reached out to the dev there at cryptexplorer.com multiple times and have not heard back yet. I want to support his site as he created a block explorer for us on Day 1. But if he doesn't update it soon I will be forced to create our own in house Block Exolorer.
