Not entirely i guess. I have 3 connections on my wallet, and i just had 13 pxl sent to me from a pool. These crypto currencies are hard to kill once they get out into the open.

Nah, it's not dead - we just lost the pixel webpage. Someone ought to put up a new one, and earn himself some pxl ;-)

i have one active connection (better than nothing) and the pool http://pxl.bitember.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool is still running, and it seems the network is also up, finding blocks still.

The opposite - I lost my entire stash of bitcoins in the early days renting hashing to keep the coin going and after that I lost the rest paying for hosting. And I lost all my time fighting hacking attempts. After losing my virtual wealth I just couldn't afford to spend any "real" money to pay to market the coin. Sorry it didn't work out guys but I swear on both my children I didn't make a dime and actually lost money (albeit virtual money) on this.

If anyone wants to revive it I can give you the source to the website.

Sorry for that accusation that's just how it seemed because after the "pump" the coin died off and you stopped posting here. I am very pleased that you did stop by and give an explanation but I don't think the project should just be abandoned "we" as a community should figure out a way to revive PXL.

As Tripmode has officially retired, I have been contacted by someone who wants to recreate a PXL website so we again have some use for PXL in the future!

It might be a good idea for some others to also develop some PXL sites (which accepts PXL as payment). Anyone can run sites! ANYONE


As far as code development , this can be supported with a small % of PXL sales on your website (as was my previous agreement with tripmode)

Please contact me or post in thread if you want to be a PXL site developer!

For now here is 8.6.4 with updated nodes and quick fix to the problem with syncing.
