I dont really watch Netflix, cuz I download movies free online Yeah I got Raspberry Pi hooked up running XBMC and IceFilms, but I know that The Prestige is on Netflix (last time I looked), and that's an amazing film! Definitely recommend it! How much IceFilms cost? Nuffink I still must put my credit card there? IceFilms is just an app, no credit card or anything. I never said it was completely legal, but it's free movie streaming, often in HD if you use IceFilms. Remember, with IceFilms, you are not sharing or distributing illegally downloaded content. IceFilms doesn't even distribute content, they host sources that you stream directly, through the app. It is asking account verifaction via credit card. What is? Screenshot? Sounds like you may be in the wrong place. Icefilms.info is the online site, but if you download XBMC (you can install on a PC) and install the app using the link, you just find a film you wanna watch. No credit card details whatsoever. You don't even sign up with any details. Okay, I didn't download anything yet. But if I press "play" it ask credit card. I honestly can't help with this as it doesn't do this for me. I can watch online or on my TV without signing up for anything. When you go to icefilms.info and select a movie, you then select your source (Billion Uploads, for example) and it will start streaming. If you don't have a streaming script already, it will prompt you to download one. People don't just use Raspberry Pi to get XBMC on their TV. Some people get their Apple TV jailbroken and install it that way. Raspberry Pi has a HDMI port which means the movies are great quality. I have Raspberry Pi but I don't know how to use it I tried put software on my 16gb sdhc memory card put I failed it and now my sd card shows it have only 0,04mb total memory.

Just reformat your SD and start over. If you install NOOBS (allows you to install various different OSs. If you want to use XBMC as I do, choose the option to install OPENElec. Then just plug it into your screen and turn it on. See here: http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/4100

I used to use torrents to download files, but why bother when you have a littl set top box that pretty much does it all for you, and without having to wait for the download.

To counter that you could say why stream when you can download the file to keep forever and watch whenever you want?

I have a huge external hard drive full of films when I used to download them, which is useful to have, but I much prefer the Pi for it now. When I'm in the mood for a film, I don't wanna have to wait an hour for it to DL on my crappy Sky Internet. I just boot up the Pi and search for it. So much quicker.

Surely if you can stream them fine you can download them fine too? Does Icefilms have every film that is available online, or do the links ever turn out to be dead etc? And you don't have to be in the mood for the film there and then, if you have them all on an external drive you can pick whatever you choose from that selection.

Yeah there are dead links sometimes, but there are loads to choose from. I've never had to go without because of dead links. They get removed pretty swiftly too. I guess that's true if you have them all on your hard drive already. I like that the Pi connects easily to the HDMI port on my TV and hides behind my TV nicely. Each to their own I guess. Either way, it's way better than Netflix!

There's only a few decent films on there. It's good for series but that's it.
