I'd say it's up to the artist's own judgement. I will say that it can't be a big M or people will confuse too easily with Megacoin. So if it is an m, it would be best to be a lowercase m.

I think that font looks really nice for "microcoin" but the logo part of it just needs a little...something. Needs some sort of flair to it like how bitcoin has the lines coming out of it so that it isn't just a regular B.

I like these! But what I felt was missing in all these designs was a designed currency-looking symbol - like $ £ ¥ BTC - so I got busy.

After throwing a variety of horizontal and vertical lines and slashes into a variety of instances of the letter M, this is the one that I liked.

Works perfectly well on its own, inside a simple coin logo, or inside a fancy shiny coin logo. Shiny is all well and good but you've gotta be able to recongise a logo at 24 pixels square or less for best results!

Made a pretty simple logo that works even at extremly small sizes. You will always be able to see what coin it is.

I have all the files saved so I can easily change colors if you just liked the style. This is just a few previews of what I think is a nice color scheme.

That's one of the only entries that includes a unique currency symbol that could be used for microcoin and that will be a very important thing if it's to grow

Looking great. On the final day I will host a poll with 5 logos and see what gets the most votes. We will still hold the final decision, but seeing the votes helps a lot, because we want a logo that the community likes.

I think this design is the best. But in my opinion the 'mu' has to go a bit to the right. The centre of the coin should be in the middle of the mu.

This is exactly the idea I was thinking of for Microcoin. Winner for sure. I guess I'm not going to pay anyone to design me a microcoin logo using the computer chip design. Can you make one version of the coin where its flat, and we can see that gold metallic shine!!! all your versions are angled

I'm render gold one too.

Those images can used as backgrounds(in high res) wallet images, e-bay lot pictures, but can't
used as wallet icon or small pictograms (they look crap when little size).
So there is need simplier 2D 2 or 3 color version. I can do it if i'll "win" and get paid.
Othervise not see sence for myself to do that (difficulty similiar(little less) to do coin geometry).

Also i thinking about doing such coins (with uniqe idea and same tech process)
on stream. You can see my previous works in CATcoin thread (I'm CAT holder).
Also some other coins(and one existing) will show up with my works soon.

Not see bad things if artwork will do same style (and also think that is good on coins market,
because imagine how will newbe looks like when he see this altcoins hurricane).
But idea of artwork must be uniqe.

I'm not an artist and even not a "designer", i'm electronics engeneer,
but fell myself as a creator and get many problems with employers trough this.

Thanks, I would've explored it more (donation/pay with MRC buttons, wallet splash image etc) but spare time is a scarce commodity for me these days. The main idea was to have a symbol that is simple and clear enough that you can write it by hand if you want.
