why we should care about rumours or something, if we just casual miners and all we want is get our mined coins
its not about ads of another pools or smth...if you run pool about 150-200mh speed, you will get enough money to hire 1 man to handle users requests
Not sure if I've done my maths correctly but I'm mining with 2mhash per day and mining about 300 coino per day. If a pool charges 1% fees and has 200mhash then they'd only be making 300 coino per day too. 300 coino per day to respond to requests is fuck all, and that's assuming they spend 100% of their profit on it. So yeah, not sure if what you're saying stacks up. s_t_r_o_b_e is right, there isn't even enough money in it for 1 person's income, let alone to hire a person to run a pool for you. In my case I haven't charged any fees at all and have only received about 50 CON total from pool members that were nice enough to donate a percentage. In reality, I am losing money due to the non-cookie-cutter giveaways that I do to keep things fun and interesting. For me running a pool is not about getting rich off of running a pool. I do it to support the coin and its advancement so that the ones I am mining myself will go up in value. Also running a pool can be a fun experience. You get to mingle with interesting people from all over the world and have the satisfaction of providing people with a secure and fun environment to mine with. Keep the faith guys, there will always be the people that are only day trading new coins and they are going to dump. Don't start dropping your prices to undercut them. Just wait it out and sit on your coins until it goes back up. The drop in value was noticeable but really I have seen a lot worse when a coin first hit an exchange. |
