Sure. We have had them before and i know a few guys. What did you have in mind?

I am actually not sure. I have never been to one, so i thought I would try to find one in KC, but didn't have any luck. I was going to look in to what other groups did to get some idea. We could also meet up as a group to tax about what everyone would like to get out of a group.

If everyone is 21 I suggest a bar somewhere. If not, maybe Sushi

I would be down for sure. Meeting at a bar or sushi place for a discussion on how a group should function/goals would be awesome.

Any location ideas? I am in the Westport area, and there are a lot of places around here.

What about meeting at Beer Kitchen in Westport? It's not sushi but has good food.

Which weekend and day of the week works best for all?

I like this idea!

So, date everyone? I feel next weekend is a little soon (or maybe not?) . Maybe the 15th?

What's everyone's opinion?

What about either Feb 22 or March 1? My feeling is that Saturday night is better than Friday.

I know I'm nobody on these forums but these dates work for me.

BTW, do you have ties to costa rica? I go down there every now and then on business

Sure do, was born in San Jose and just went on a trip to CR this past December.

I really wish I could go to the conference in Texas on the 6th but can't.

What about meeting March 1 at around 7 pm?
-I'm thinking that it would give those who have been to previous meetups time to confirm if they're coming.

Oh, I'd be interested in this, but earlier instead of primetime.

Well crap, that date might even work for me. I was going to be travelling through KC on the way to meet family that weekend. I've never done one of these meetups, before. Generally speaking, I've never seen the point of meeting in person, but maybe we could talk about the latest news or something. Let me know if this is a real scheduled thing or not as I'll need to figure out where I am going to stay.

EDIT: look like I'm going through Omaha that weekend instead, let me know when you have the next one, though.

After looking at the ice, and the fact it takes me over an hour to get to that location I am going to have to pass tonight.

I know two others who can't make it that were going to go as well. should we just move it to a different day or are there enough locals who are going to go?

sorry about not going but i cant get stuck out there tonight if the ice is bad.

I also saw the weather is looking pretty crappy coming up. I think we should reschedule.

Much agreed. Lets reschedule for Saturday the 8th or 15th, whichever works best.
