The greatest threats to Earth are the political agendas being imposed and being used to brainwash peoples minds. It creates social chaos, instability and make people affect the planet negatively.

About the main statement on this thread it's better to be careful. Blindly believing that pesticides, agrotoxins are evil and shouldn't be used is questionable. They play a big role in producing enough food for everyone on the Earth and without them we couldn't have enough food for all.

Human beings have brought a lot of pollution to the earth. Especially after the Industrial Revolution, human beings depended on the power of science and technology to create a lot of water pollution, air pollution,  in ancient times not so much pollution.

It is my hope that when we can finally utilize the energy from the sun to very high efficiency, we will put an end to a lot of pollution that ravages the earth. We shouldn't put wealth above the future generations because we will be gone someday and they will suffer for our mistakes.

Well, I want to focus on the environmental issues. Nowadays, our planet has been going on to the hottest and the coldest weather so far. The nature has been sending signs to us that the Earth might collapsed one day and people is affecting little by little. I wish to address this issue more. Sure there are many threats. That's why we have to keep progressing technologically so we can counter them (like the astroids etc). As mentioned before one of the biggest is humans themselves. Climate change is most importantly an issue since individuals can't concur on regardless of whether it's an issue in any case. Exactly, and saving this beautiful planetary home would require some serious awakening of the consciousness, and assuming the responsibility for our actions and inactions. I strongly believe that there is, in fact, a small step every one of us can take literally every day (and in some cases many times a day) to reduce our negative impact. I agree that it is the humans that pose the greatest threat. We are the ones who took advantage of the earth's resources and we comprise the government whose role is help enforce policies in order to conserve said resources. There is reason why the term "manpower" exists. It's because we are capable of either destroying or saving our planet. It really is up to us. We hold this power in everyday life too... we have the capacity to create and achieve our goals. Our successes and failures depend on us.
