Long term  almost definitely up as smart contracts become part of day to day life.From the health sector to the construction sector, I think that common actions can be made with smart contracts in many sectors.ETH price will likely follow the whole market, irrespective of specific ETH news and developments.

my prediction is eth will surpass eth on 2020 or earlier. there are really lots of new projects on eth. and there is no big competitor to it. meybe tezos can be but in 2020 eth will be 1st on coinmarket

It will probably go down considering how the market perform nowadays, though lets not worry but continue holding and put more faith in Ethereum, the Bear season will come to an end soon, and the Bull will rise, for now lets hold and wait patiently.
