Exactly, we both have the same question, as i read the announcemeent thread many were interested to know everything about this project because it really has a nice and interesting concept that community could be benefited. Hopefully we can view your link of the whitepaper for better understanding and maybe the community can help to understand and share it advantages and opprotunities offers. |

The Fork value isn’t so much about the risks hedging, as about the opportunities to see new project aspects, and also it shows to the community that the main product (in this case ethereum) is really decentralised and anyone can make his own fork - then everything depends on community, if it supports the fork and how much.

The fork realisation difficulty is in it’s strong dependance on the main project. This project is going to use technologies that aren’t integrated in ethereum and are under studies. Although there’s plenty of time, and I think the debs will manage to do it.

We’ll see how it goes. I agree with the comment above, that the project is more on the research side. And maybe there will be some changes, that follows from the developers words that it is an «early announcement». Let’s see, wouldn’t loose anything, in any case.
