Bitcoin down , then no alt coins up

When bitcoin on low price will be impossible to see altcoin on high price, always it the same thing happen when bitcoin on lower price will be follow by altcoin on lower price. But when bitcoin on highest price will be the same on altcoin will have highest price too. I don’t know why is always happen the same thing with bitcoin or altcoin, just related thing always happen on bitcoin or altcoin price on market.

Btc still in the same place between 5000-10000$. These days again btc down. So definitly alt coins down. If btc not arise , alt coin have no future.

according to what I see, altcoins prices follow bitcoin prices, if bitcoin prices rise, altcoin prices go up, we need not worry, soon bitcoin and altcoin prices will also rise

Well, the only time altcoins will ever have a say in the market is when bitcoin is consolidating, so, it is just better to get used to that. Most times, and in fact at all times, bitcoin dictates what happens to the market one way or the other, and that makes me believe that most traders are actually using altcoins to increase their position in bitcoin and there is just no altcoin that can easily stand on its own. However, those who know how to play their card well will always know how to trade the market to their advantage.

certainly, the pattern is indeed like that. all altcoin always follow what's happening in bitcoin, whether it be the increase or decrease. However specific to ethereum some time altcoin is often different from the others or did not follow the bitcoin. It is natural I think because of the ethereum is also a great altcoin and of course have the opportunity and the potential also to be able to stand on its own.

indeed both are highly related and maybe both users are the same person when for example seoerang large investments trying to invest in both and affect the price of both it could happen.

Sometimes you could say that but sometimes you can't really assume that 100%. Some coins with the exception of USDT, are gonna be independently rise on their own if there will be cases that such tokens or coins allow direct payment for investment and some even allow credit cards, if I saw it correctly at some investment sites. Then because of that independency of the demand with Bitcoin or ETH, it rises on its own in the market without the need of going through such conversion with BTC and ETH or such any nearby coins linked with it.

Yes, it cannot be 100% as there would still be some altcoins that will want to make some movement even when all the flows are not right, but you really would want to be careful in such markets since it might just be a pump and dump market.

In a larger percentage of it, anytime bitcoin is coming down, alts are coming down as well and the same thing happens even when bitcoin is in a bull rally as traders sump alts to take advantage of bitcoin movement, consolidation period of bitcoin is the only period altcoins shine and it really should not be, but it is the way things are.

The price of all of the altcoins are dependent on the price of bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin starts going down then the price of the altcoins will automatically follow suit. The only way for the price of the altcoins to start going up is for people to start buying into bitcoin so that the price of bitcoin increase. That is the only way that the price of the altcoins will recover.

Beware of the market today because of the circumstances are uncertain. Indeed such was the movement of altcoin that is always based on what is seen in the bitcoin. I would not actually say they follow the movement of bitcoin in a way because they only get time to move when bitcoin is actually in a consolidated mode most especially in an uptrend. With that we can get to see the market of altcoins soaring pretty fast like it is the only option they have in that short amount of time to do something pretty great with their value. I still cannot wait though to see when altcoins will be able to have a stand on their own without being tagged along with btc.

Yeah, there is a support within the range of $7200 - $6900. However, if we drop way lower than that, the altcoins are really going to be hitting their bottom right away when that time comes, which is why when the market is normally like this, it is always necessary to be careful when getting into altcoins as anything can happen at any time and if one is not careful, with a huge crash downward, some alts may not even be able to breather again.

Um... you realize you are quoting a range with $5,000 of value between them right? As if it isn't anything. Yes, just like the stock market, cryptocurrency is only one sector, so the market as a whole moves on the speculation of Bitcoin's worth, which is essentially the major player in the whole space. Altcoins can gain more value compared to Bitcoin and maybe one day an altcoin will be more used than Bitcoin.

it is not possible because altcoin follow the movement of bitcoin and if bitcoin down altcoin also will decrease then from that altcoin altcoin many say mutual need and with that for now that i see bitcoin and altcoin price still decreasing but i am sure at the end of year 2018 all will back to stable
