Hello,
Just wondering, how are orders processed when multiple users have an order for the same price? I couldn't find any information in the documentation.
example: -
1. User1 orders 100XMG at price 2000 at 13:00 2. User2 orders 100XMG at price 2000 at 14:00 3. User3 buys 100XMG at price 2000 at 15:00
what happens?
is it FIFO? (User3 buys 100XMG from User1) FILO? (User3 buys 100XMG from User2) averaged? (User3 buys 50XMG from User1 and 50XMG from User2) weighted? (User2 has a higher trading volume, so 100XMG is bought from User2) randomised? (Based on random value, or top value retrieved from a database)
Thanks in advance for your help

Normally exchanges and markets that use the system of buy and sell books use the FIFO way.... so user 3 buy from user1 who first put the order on market....

I am a user of Poloniex, recently I forgot my password. When I try to reset password with email, I cannot get the reset email. I submitted a support ticket 4 days ago, ticket number is #48454. Three days ago, I received an email asking me to send a six digit code to the support ticket, I did it three days ago, yet I didn't hear from the support since then. I wrote three letters to the support in the past three days, and didnt get any response. Can anybody in poloniex help me to look into it?
Try to contact the moderator in troll box and mention the ticket number, might be a little help. Usually a quick response

What's stopping your staff or admins from gaming the margin trading? You could technically just set up massive accounts to sway markets especially on eth where the financial gain is so ludicrous to do so. How many staff have access to margin trade logs in real time? How many staff can alter balances? There's some very strange trends that occur and feels manipulated really bad even for crypto. How can your business remedy doubts about heavy insider exchange trading?
