why poloniex often get down? any trouble ?
I think there are too many people trading - markets are a bit crazy these days with the BTC price rise - I'm sure things will be better once the prices stabalise again

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Yeah, I agree. The market is quite crazy and stressfull (IMO) these days. It can be a main contributor to the server breakdown as there are a lot of people connected and accessing the site at the same time.
And if I may add my own opinion, biased or not, it is not to be worried whether polo will turn into a scam exchanger and take our money, they have a very great reputation to hold and it took time to build, I don't think they want to throw it away "just like that". But, as always, it is always wise to split your money into several basket.

No one knows why. Why did they delist 10 coins last week. I assume they will add if they feel they can pump it lol

Deposits are open now.

As for adding new coins, we don't want to jump into that too fast. Soon, though.

Poloniex... my bitcoin stuck on "withdrawal awaiting approval" already 9days, and no one reply the ticket, pleaseeeeee!!
11bitcoin and seems there is no end, all the altcoins and bitcoin already went far away

whats going on, currently i have 100btc in polo, this is not the 1st withdrawal, and seems often stuck, i don't think this is coincidence
what's going on?

The above case is shocking and extremely disconcerting to say the least!

There is NO excuse for Poloniex to ignore this user for such a length of time (or any other user for that matter) when clearly a support ticket has been raised!

And being understaffed is no excuse at all.... Hire more staff if you can't handle backlogs. Traders being unable to access their money or trades for over a week is pure bullshit!!

Personally I also have a withdrawal that is stuck in "awaiting approval" mode ... whatever the hell that's supposed to mean!?  Its been nearly 48 hours already with no response and i have also had absolutely no response to the ticket i lodged about it.

These kinds of issues are causing me to believe the rumours out there that there's something seriously wrong at Poloniex and that perhaps they are running a fractional reserve system.
I've seen top crypto traders say things like "If you haven't already done so, pull your money off @Poloniex asap. They've stopped responding to support tickets."

My experience with them and others mentioned here certainly seem to lend creedance to these comments.

IF and when Poloniex support sorts out my withdrawal i will certainly come back here and give them credit for that but until then i remain a skeptic.

basically they use your money, charge a fee for every operation on the exchange and now you are unable to get your own funds. imagine you need this money for a living, these pricks earn half a million per day, there are support tickets hanging there for over a week, and they cannot do anything about it. my funds are pending for 3 days but now I know I will not receive anything this week

I don't think you will get faster answer from here, the fastest way how to deal with them only through their mods on their troll box or from their support ticket (I know your feel, my problem was solved after i have waited for 1 month).

Because poloniex only listed some of good altcoins which aren't considered "shitcoin" IMO. Busoni (Poloniex's Owner) is the only one know what's the exact reason why poloniex don't want to add coin too much.

This has the earmarks of Cryptsy before their website exchange went offline. Many lost their BTC and other alts...

I am withdrawing all my alts to Bittrex, my mining wallet to Bittrex as well. I cannot afford to risk anymore with Poloniex. Once I am done moving all coins, I plan to call the IRS office there later today. See what can be done. Everyone better make back up docs of their POLO exchange balances and any correspondence with Polo.

After 3.5 years of trading there I never thought it would come to this.... sad day

Funny that with me all the withdrawals are working just fine... I wonder if you are holding a short position and thus fear mongering?  Roll Eyes
