0.5BTC is not a huge amount.

I won't comment further as I'm not used to trading on polo, only lending.

BigWolf : if this is an exit strategy it's a unusual one. In a normal exit strategy all appears well until the exit suddenly happens.

I agree it's not a huge amount 0.5BTC but for me is important...

Well..ofcourse no answer yet from poloniex support...

Quoted just for my reference.

~snip~

Poloniex support is officially alive!!!  Grin
Stop-loss orders have been cleared and funds returned to my balance!

Post the proof here, your complain ticket and their reply. Also, the screenshot of your current balance that state you have at least 0.5btc and 1 stellar, with your latest history to prove that the account was not recently funded. Otherwise, I will be very doubtful of this claim.

how can I attache pictures? It is my first time in forum if you believe...

Don't waste your time.  If they don't believe you, oh well.  I believe you.  Poloniex is not going anywhere just yet.  They have thousands of tickets, and get to them one at a time.  If anyone ever followed the ticket numbers they would see they jumped by 100,000 between may and july.   I'm just glad I moved funds in June.  It's just to flaky to be used seriously.

You still can post pictures even if you're a newbie, although it won't be displayed. Just post the link of your uploaded proofs here, people who want can click them. And no, it's not only for my sake, it's for other people on this thread too. The proofs will help ease their anxiety of unanswered tickets.

Hi,
I have some problem with my 2FA device. I already open ticket #458101 in support center 6 days ago. Although I sent all the information you wanted, I am still waiting for progress. Is there anything else I need to do to solve the problem with my 2FA?
Thank you

Hi,

I have deposited 4 Eth to Poloniex but it never showed up. It has been 3 days already.

Transaction: https://etherscan.io/tx/0x8209ad9bb855f75fe640a6f5c6c822fda0a0794eb22644649a3828132199bbc6

Support ticket: #462298

Sorry to hear that but I can only say that you need to be patient till you get an answer from poloniex support. There are too many unanswered tickets imo, some others say that they do not get any answers for more than weeks/months. Wondering, why you still using this exchange? Are you a new user of poloniex or you are an old user but never got any problems before?

It is quite strange for ETH deposit not to show up soon. Usually this happens to smaller coins.

Got notification they updated their terms:

https://www.poloniex.com/terms/

Quote
23. ARBITRATION
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY – IT MAY SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY HEAR YOUR CLAIMS.

To expedite and control the cost of disputes, you and we agree that any legal or equitable claim arising out of or relating to your use of the Services or these Terms, including the formation, validity, enforceability, scope, or applicability of these Terms, including this Section 23 (referred to as a “Claim”) will be resolved as follows: except for claims for injunctive or equitable relief or claims regarding intellectual property rights (which may be brought in any competent court without the posting of a bond), any dispute arising under your use of the Services shall be finally settled on an individual basis through confidential, binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules for arbitration of consumer-related disputes, available at www.adr.org or by calling 1-800-778-7879, and you and Poloniex hereby expressly waive trial by jury. This means that all claims other than intellectual property lawsuits, such as copyright or trademark infringement lawsuits, or claims seeking non-monetary relief would be subject to binding arbitration. This includes claims which may pre-date this agreement. The arbitration shall take place in Boston, Massachusetts, in the English language and the arbitral decision may be enforced in any court. At your request, hearings may be conducted in person or by telephone and the arbitrator may provide for submitting and determining motions on briefs, without oral hearings. Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA’s rules. The prevailing party in any action or proceeding to enforce this agreement shall be entitled to costs and attorneys' fees.

To begin an arbitration proceeding, you must send a letter by mail requesting arbitration and describing your claim to our counsel:

Poloniex, Inc. c/o Cooley LLP
500 Boylston St
Boston, MA 02116
Attn: Poloniex Arbitration Requests

ADDITIONALLY, YOU HEREBY WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. We each agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, we each waive any right to a jury trial. If a court or federal regulator with oversight over Poloniex decides that applicable law precludes enforcement of any of this section’s limitations as to a particular claim for relief, then that claim (and only that claim) must be severed from the arbitration and may be brought in court, subject to your and Poloniex's right to appeal the court's decision. All other claims will be arbitrated.

So basically one on one and so much for that suepoloniex website that popped up. If you dont agree to these terms ask for account closure, does that mean an IMMEDIATE refund of all coins in the account? ? ?

Signing a waiver or disclaimer is just legal fluff and worthless.  This is a finra regulated company in the usa. if they do wrong, screw you out of $ etc no waiver will indemnify them of all wrong doings. It does not give them the right to do what they claim.  It is only a deterrent companies use to head off lawsuits.  in other words convince you not even to file because " it wont go anywhere"   Bull hockey. Only way to hold exchanges accountable is sue them when they screw you. otherwise everyone will eventually be screwed.

Some of the complaints saying scam look more like people expecting 1st rate service from poloniex.

Lower your expectations, folks.

Adding more altcoin won't make their site transaction becomes bigger than now. Supports is the one which they must improve now. There are a lot of unsolved problem from many people

I thought it was the best also but the exchange is in a terrible state, and I hope it gets back on its feet.
