Interesting, but how could you fit a private key on a bottle cap?

make it a 8-12 digit brainwallet, something like 3FrL$3Z;w&4d

Also might be gimicky enough to get some attention.

I can probably have reedsinc.com make it, and they make wicked good soda (virgils orange cream or root beer is my favorite, but they have very high quality ginger ale as well.) probably need to assure that enough people would want it first...

Use a QR code.

I don't know how you would keep the person responsible for putting the key on the cap from redeeming it themselves, though.

Still around.

IMO you won't have a huge market of consumers buying a drink primarily because it's a "BitCola" - and shipping is gonna kill you if you try going for an online platform (since your demand may be there but will probably be widely dispersed). But as a gimmick to promote an established or up-and-coming soda, especially if the manufacturer starts accepting BitCoin at the same time, might work out well.

Have a machine do it I guess, and you'll know who's been redeeming them if suddenly all your customers are unable to redeem their codes

Can we have it glow in the dark like nukacola?

OR, make a cola that can only be purchased by Bitcoins! Lol, kidding, I could see little codes and giveaways like that being a really big hit!

How about making sodas with different prizes? Like real Coca-Cola or Pepsi campaigns, where 1 in 1000 (or more, I don't know) get a bigger prize. And maybe add one (just one) with a 10 BTC prize.

An economy based on endless growth is unsustainable.
