Stay away from proof-of-stake unless it's with a very strong alt such as DASH, if the number of masternodes are too high then your block rewards are going to be super low, particularly if there's barely any transactions on the network, which is likely for most new coins as they don't tend to offer any reason to transact frequently.

I'd support the idea of masternodes.

Some of them became cheaper today like PIVX which has a worth of $12 /PIVX before and now it has gone to $0.8 which is a good start for someone that considers staking or masternodes.

Yes, people keep writing about some Staker coin, but I wanted to recommend DASH. The return is about 7.5% per year, which is not that much, but fair and reasonable. And besides, now is the holding time anyway, so why not to profit a bit from it. Dash is a storng coin and it may rise a lot in price eventually. Another great coin to hold is NEO. The return is 2% lower, but the price is ridiculously low and holding it will probably be profitable anyway. Other reputable coins have really low returns and it's completely useless to hold them expecting to profit from POS.

i wouldn't waste my time and money on PoS coins specially those coins that pay a higher stake than others. it is not about how many coins you are getting paid, it is about how much it is worth and is going to worth in the future.
and remember that it is not just you who are getting paid for your stake in this coin, there are lots of others many of whom are whales who are getting a lot of free coins which will then dump. and this is actually one of the weaknesses of PoS, the whales don't have bills to pay like PoW miners, they just earn free money and dump it to get the profit out.
if you look at the history of such coins they are always declining hard in the long run.

You right on point,  I love the POS concept of Staker where you do not need to leave your wallet open and connected to the internet 24/7 before you can claim a stake. This is a unique feature that brings low cost to staking. I guess most of the replies above here highly suggest Staker token as the best altcoin with high POS rewards, then I also agree to them. Actually there many altcoins in the market that has Proof-of-Stake capability already, the problem is that mostly of this coins are not electricity efficient not like Staker token. Also this token is on Ethereum platform, which may make it unique to all other POS coins in the market.

I'd also suggest a coin like Dash.
