There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The really crazy thing is that we just went from 0.0161 to 0.0174 in a few minutes as people saw the price on coinmarketcap and rushed to FOMO buy.

Someone bought 2 dash for 180 BTC too?  Maybe a foreigner who couldn't read Chinese and thought it was the other way around.
3.353 @ 95.0 BTC each actually. Ouch!

The BTC have to go somewhere. Maybe the happy seller wants some more Dash  Wink

These exchanges really do need to introduce a volatility halt function. Some guy just lost his shirt off a simple mistake.
