Someone panicked out there! Well, at least the number of master node in not decrease proportionally.

It's a strange day to be in crypto, with massive movement almost everywhere. I assume (perhaps wrongly) that it has a lot to do with the launch of zcash. I had big hopes for zcash and am a fan of Zooko, but the leadup to the launch became very weird. The m-coin people and others were trolling it aggressively well before the genesis block, but over time I decided that was not necessarily a "buy" signal, just reflex on their part.

At one GPU coin I mine, 80% of the miners disappeared overnight and my guess is that they joined the frenzy at places like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1660023 - extremely dangerous state-of-mind for many people there, imho.

Easy to make big mistakes in this climate, no matter what one does. For me, DASH is still the best "retreat to quality", but it sure is a volatile moment.

At least we aren't Zcash! It went from $2.5 million PER COIN to $5600 per coin. And yes, there were buyers that high. One poor sap bought 0.01 Zcash for $7000 yesterday!

If I remember correctly when DRK got listed on Cryptsy, its price was 0.1 or 0.5 BTC for a brief moment which made the all time chart unreadable.

The interesting pattern I notice is that after every single big drop, the coin keeps rising instead of continuing to fall.
