I cannot believe monero is going so high this is beyond crazines and alphabay fraud and money laundering...what dash is doing here? I need to see some development around and exept this i need to see dash to seperate its price as monero is doing.. So when btc goes up dash should go up aswell not get dumped to adapt btc price this is not competition with btc this is following btc .

I wouldn't worry about what monero is doing... 95% of trades are through polo and it's a really easily manipulated market. Dash is doing just fine and has diversity in terms of its distribution across markets and mining rewards. Add to that the healthy development path and funding and I think we're looking sweet for 2017. Once bitcoin levels off then Dash will rise as the new capital flows into alts.

If you didnt get my comment i mentioned that dash should follow the risin price Of bitcoin  so if you get the fundamentals what im saying is that healthy rise for dash is to rise while bitcoin rising so if 1 bitcoin equals to 1k$ dash shouldnt adapt its rate according to that rather than it should rise to 20-30$ per dash while btc its still 1k$ ..this is adoption and this is competition vs btc ..Waiting for btc to get dumped and  for investors to turn their stack to dash is just as doing a hole in the water because if btc gets dumped to 650-700 again and dash rises then dash should keep the rise while btc turns again bullish to 1k .If we see this then we can say that dash have some adoption and can compete bitcoin

Not everyone followed my friendly advice to convert DASH into XMR at a greater than 1/1 ratio and that is okay.  There are other things that some people value more than money that is secure, private and untraceable. When it comes to GIFs and pictures of holiday trees DASH is one of the best projects in crypto.

Not sure why it's supposed to be either XMR or DASH. They both have a different objective which shapes their development. One wants to achieve privacy and the other wants to push towards mainstream. 

I personally put my chips on DASH as all the fundamentals are there and there is consistent growth. One is targeting the less than 1% crowd while the other wants the 99%.  Whether this is executed is a whole other question, although I am confident on the development.

But again, I'm sure there are people that have both. I just think DASH will do much better in the long run.

Privacy by default (not optional privacy that you have to "opt in" to use and is not supported automatically by all exchanges and merchants) is for the mainstream, they just don't realize it yet. Make no mistake, Monero is targeting mainstream adoption (today defined as all Bitcoin users and whose definition will expand over time). Privacy matters for everyone, not just the 1%

XMR is far superior to DASH and as you can see has now reached $12.57,- at the time of writing this. XMR offers real privacy and anonymity and will soon have I2P integrated. XMR is a real contender to Bitcoin and now also has a nice GUI wallet. DASH is neither private nor anonymous and does not seem to have that as a focus.

I am the lead dev for MOJOcoin which is loosely based on DASH and I can say that the concept of masternodes is deeply flawed and counter privacy. Do not be fooled, DASH is NOT an anonymous currency and never was. The masternodes are a bit like a a pyramid scheme and will reward a few. It's easy to spy on the DASH network and easy to identify users. The DASH team holds a large chunk of the coins and will dump at some point when they realise that further development is futile. DASH is doomed and other privacy coins are taking over.
