I am wondering if anyone performed a comparison with $RANDOM_COIN? $RANDOM_COIN seems to also be shooting up like a rocket.
Revelations86 why dont you go ask them in their thread? Few people here care about the clones/copies and what they are doing. People in Dash are working hard to make a true digital cash for everyone to use, and as for other coin projects... no idea and quite frankly the best option is to go check their threads/slacks/etc.

I might as well ask here too. Can anyone tell me why or how giving away my cell phone number on wall of coins is safe? Do other people get it? what is their policy? I have never ever given out my cell phone number to anyone but family and have enjoyed a harassment free / no sales calls existence with it. So I'm pretty paranoid to give it out. Our home number on the other hand is unusable, I'm not sure why we still have it. We never answer it unless we recognize the caller or are expecting a call. So I need to know that this info is super safe. Any insight is very much appreciated If you're not comfortable giving it them, just get a Google Voice number instead. Thank you, that's exactly what I did wackyD those might be self moderated threads. Dash decided not to moderate in the beginning so that people wouldn't see this thread as being manipulated. Unfortunately, it's gotten ugly because of that. But hell, it has free speech

Also, as an FYI, I've been holding and buying DASH for 3 years now and have gotten many of my friends to start using it, so I'm a big supporter and believe in the hard work that is being done. I don't hold PIVX nor am I trying to promote it- I'm only asking a question, so no need for the attitude.

Anyone active in the community has so many far superior methods of communication and engaging it just seems pointless.. Put a vote to the masternodes and get this thread banished to oblivion! Walter

Walter I actually did a little poll about this awhile back : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1226324.0The poll had a clear outcome and some interesting remarks.

Just want to encourage Masternode owners to start reading the proposals and voting what they think should pass now, because more come online every day, and frankly it's exhausting to go through all of them at the end of the cycle just before voting time is finished. If you take a look once every few days or so, and put your vote in, even if it's to abstain, you can clearly see what you still need to read or any new items, and take them in smaller bites. We need everyone's wisdom to make good decisions. Thank you for voting

I also tried to make my point but be as polite as possible. Maybe add your position to your question next time and it will be perceived in a different light. This said, besides PIVX being a POS coin I'm not sure why someone would want to choose it over Dash. But good luck to both projects.

Well F#CK YOU and the horse you all rode in on (Moronos, Bitcoin Maximalists, all you trolls!) I know you will always exist, you scumbags of the world, you elitists who have no idea WHY Satoshi Nakamoto created what he created.
Can you explain how you know why Satoshi created bitcoin?

How many proposals are there. It does not sound good if it is exhausting.

What can take time though is to engage with proposal submitter, making suggestions and comments on how to improve the proposal. Simply voting yes, no, abstain doesn't take too long it itself.

So it's usualy better to first make a pre-proposal in the forum to get some feedback from the community, otherwise you risk losing the $500 fee.

Thank you...can anyone submit a proposal for voting or does the proposal first need to clear some hurdles? Anyone may create a proposal to the network, but it costs 5 Dash to do so. The recommended way to make a proposal is to first take up the matter and discuss the idea on a section of the Dash forum. If there seems to be support for the idea, and people have been able to discuss some aspects of the proposal, the user can go ahead to a site like Dashcentral.org and post the proposal. The reason for a pre-proposal discussion is to "get things in order", proposal length, costs, ideas, deliverables etc. Since it costs a fair amount to make a proposal, these things are better sorted out so the proposal is not rejected due to some minor details. In the proposal the user raises the proposed level with 5 Dash to get back the cost of the proposal.

DASH is to expensive, i can only buy 7 DASD BUY MY 1 months salary Remember when DASH was $2 ? I do. And now imagine that you could buy only 1 DASH with your monthly salary. Remember this https://99bitcoins.com/price-chart-history/Anything can happen. And Dash has big potential, as it does many things better than Bitcoin.

Unfortunately the marketing-over-technology noise-over-signal smoke-over-steak paradigm DashHoles operate within prizes the high post number and page length over quality of discussion.
It's possible the trollbox banter is being used for forum sliding, in which critical posts warning about Dash's fraud are strategically moved farther back in the thread by piling on newer posts.
I think the thread, being unmoderated, has a fair mix of opinion. Yes there is a lot of noise of course. ..but isn't the technology well conceived ? Tech is only a part of the success, adoption is a very big factor. I guess that time will tell which alts are best. I think a period of reratings has just started, and the outcomes are by no means certain !
