Can we forward plan a hard fork for 12 months time for possibly changing the algo - not actually implementing a hard fork or changing the algo, but just the discussion about doing so? That gives darkcoin enough time to be ASIC resistant, put ASIC manufacturers off developing something, put people off pre-orders, assure miners for a while and give plenty of notice to all those that would need notice like merchants, pools, etc. If ASICs are desired at some point within the next 12 months. You can remove the threat. The possible downside is that some would not bother developing apps and some merchants might wait. |

Excellent, but first thing that struck me was this:
"Transactions are pooled together in the blockchain" - they're pooled off chain I believe, that's what makes them anonymous?
They are pooled on chain by being pooled off chain first.  All the addresses appear together in one transaction on the blockchain when using DarkSend. Feel free to ignore me then!  |

I've taken in suggestions about images, colours, etc. What do we think of this? http://darkcoinsample.hostoi.com/It would be nice to get a new website up before that wired articles comes out. People will be looking up DRK.  I think it looks great, even better than the last version you posted. I'm not sure I like the background picture with the crowd of asians (not that I have anything against asians LOL). Just seems kind of chaotic, makes me think of a crowded chaotic street, something more calming would be better imo. Maybe some skyscrapers at night all blurred out, some thing like that. I also was thinking of a good tagline - came up with: "Darkcoin... Instantly send money anywhere in the world... anonymously. Fast, Secure, Untraceable." "Darkcoin... Leave no trace" just thinking out loud  |

Any ideas why this thread seems so quiet lately? Also, has anyone been able to update their masternode? I've been trying but get this error when I try to start my masternode:
