Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

What to expect from DRK in the next few weeks
One major milestone could be SilkRoad 2.0
Argggg, why do people want to lay anon technology out as only for a means of conducting illegal business? There are so many other reasons for private transactions that don't involve breaking laws. That only says that could be a major milestone, because these markets have a more immediate need for our product and they currently only use Bitcoin. So yes it would be major and there are obviously a lot of other applications for privacy but if you are risking your freedom over a crypto currency you should be quicker to adopt new developments that enhance anonymity. I am also a libertarian and believe drugs should be legal so I don’t really care about the "breaking the law" part it is just a huge market that should adopt quicker. |

That's the problem, yourself. You seem to have a problem with the FBI but also with the liberty of the people to use XC. Maybe their devs need time, we are here since 6months ago. "We" don't need a war with XC? You are an XC supporter by the looks of your sig, so that's pretty silly.

There are people popping up in IRC and other plases that are looking to buy DRK with fiat, What places besides Bitfinex have drk for fiat ? Is it not correct that you dont have to buy BTC first on Bitfinex ? can just transfer fiat, and buy drk directly without going through BTC? If you could list some here It would be great Then it is possible just to link to this post for those people |

You whine about fud in your thread then you do the same thing. There are passions involved when investing so some of this is inevitable and has nothing to do with Darkcoin's official position. At least in this thread you are free to express your opinion one way or the other as it is not moderated. I think the fixation with XC came from the fact that the coin was launched as X11 coin in a clear attempt to ride Darkcoin's wave that didn’t sit well with some community members. I think if X11coin was launched with a more original approach and without claims of being ahead of Darkcoin in only two weeks it would have been better received not only by Darkcoin but by the market in general. Right now I dont see any difference between XC or Vericoin, Cryptcoin, Neutrino, etc. They are all doing something but dont have a credible whitepaper with clear information about what they are doing. So best of luck with your project but it is clearly far behind Darkcoin and the market knows it. |

You might want to start with a better and more descriptive name for your coin. Previous 'X11Coin' name made it too clear that this coin was a ripoff from Darkcoin. Then it became XC, which is quite meaningless and random. What about 'Darkcoin Lite'?
