I do not have definitive proof but I suspect some MNs are not paid because their signature has been banned. So, we can see some missing payments even though the pool has updated to 10.11.4.

So, I've updated to 10.11.5 on MNs and also tried to update my private key signature to see if it makes any difference.
Yeah, made a difference. More MNs almost immediately got paid.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Masternode not many people understand, so a lot less participation, 90% of people can not understand the Masternode mode, if there is a simple tutorial or method will be better, Chinese users almost no understand Sad

The network has been experiencing some odd banning behavior caused by bad masternode signatures. I removed the code that bans the other party when this happens will I'll find the underlying cause and fix it in RC4. Please update if you're experiencing any problems or run a masternode.

Thanks,

Scroll down to Sciomind's three-part guide. I literally know nothing about Linux or running a VPS, but if you follow his directions step-by-step, it works perfectly. I tried several other guides that were confusing or expected me to know how to do basic things in Linux, which I don't know how to do. But Sciomind's guide got me going.
Maybe a Chinese translation so the technicals have the right grammar?

I still oppose clueless people operating masternodes, no matter what language they speak.

Unsafe masternodes == flaky network.
Flaky network == DRK can't be trusted.
DRK can't be trusted == DRK becomes a shitcoin because masternode operators are all a bunch of lazy morons.

Security is an ongoing thing you have to understand. It's not "Follow steps blindly. Fire and forget."

I really, really hope those who just follow steps blindly make an effort to understand what they just did. Learn instead of just walk away saying "It works and that's good enough."

Everyone starts out a moron. I wasn't born knowing what I know. I was a moron once. But I'm not lazy. I did something about it. Please take masternode security seriously. Learn.

I haven't commented on the matter yet, but I wanted to add my 2 Duffs...

Testnet just isn't close enough to the real thing. I pointed this out on the 2nd RC3 failure. I'm glad to see the Spork system in place. Test in the actual environment. Get log data even when enforcement is off. Debug in the actual environment. No need to try emulating problems, get real data from the real problems. Old clients to deliberate bad-actors. Let them do the work for you instead of trying to replicate it yourself. The code may be closed-source, but the network operation doesn't have to be. Excellent choice to blend both. The network is too diverse and hostile and the devs have enough on their plates as it is. Pretending to be a bad guy in a sterile environment would never render the information needed.

Updated my p2pool http://x11p2p.com:7903/static/, and one of my masternodes, updating my others now.

Not sure if this helps if YOU have a banned masternode, or helps other, but updated anyhow.

I agree with you and I do take MN security seriously. I realize that MN owners provide a vital service to the network and need to be secure and stable. At the same time, we all have to learn somewhere. Yes, I am working on learning more about hardening the server.
