including LTC which tested 0.0150.

Trying to find which exchange. Don't think it has today? Although it certainly appears to be headed in that direction.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

LOL, love it!

RE: coindesk, my brain is fried due to complexities of my life right now, LOL.  I can't write at the moment, and wouldn't know which angle to take.  Anyway, Minersday got me thinking, and I'll try to see if there is something we can't do.  Mostly, if there is a way for an official of the dev team to give us daily updates or let us know what they're doing, it'd really help, but that involves bugging them...

honestly, I think the reason for the price continuing to go down is uncertainty.  Although I'm positive this is going to work and work well, not everyone has been with us long and they don't feel they know the developers and their abilities.  Also, they don't know the "quiet times" when Evan et al are with their noses to the keyboard.  They don't come here and talk to us much.  Not until they have something to say.  So people get cold feet, and don't know what's happening because the last post was 2 days ago.  Other coins, I imagine, have developers that chat a lot.  But can you imagine keeping your concentration on a complex project and coming here or even a friendlier place like darkcointalk, and chatting?  LOL

Even in the very beginning, you can see Evan's terse replies....and forgetfulness.  His mind was somewhere else (the code) and he just went with what he had going.

Anyway, I really couldn't imagine the price would fall again like the last 2 days, LOL.  That's why I don't trade  Tongue

I think we need some PR for the quiet times... =P so we will keep the people interested...
we all know that the technology for darkcoin is good, but the PR isn't that great... need to improve this..

I'm going rouge, off the DRK plan of action: lets do a short piece for master nodes and send it to stan higgins at coindesk as a follow-up to the recent piece on DRK

+1 second that

I think we should ask the Hirocoin dev for some input, I liked his checkpoint contribution

And we should have better infographics on the first page, with the masternodes etc... and not that picture, I guess made with Dia..

like the bounty infographic..

LOL, who would vote no?  RC4 should have the send limits removed for DarkSend and the masternode payments enforced!  It should be a huge improvement, including to the anonymity of DarkSend.

Frankly coins101, I think you're short changing Darkcoin again, the price should be closer to $60.

But I know nothing, LOL, won't even trade because I have no idea why people sell for so low?  Why it's so low right now is a puzzle to me.  But certainly $20 should be a certainty!

I don't think that buywall's going to do jack for LTC.

Look at this - even the 1-Week *signal line* (slowest moving average available on BCW) has rotated into nosedive mode.

Anybody buying into that kind of gravitational momentum is lambs to the slaughter IMO. A salmon trying to scale Niagra Falls. A moth flying upwind in a tornado. A mountain pansy trying to stay upright in an avalanche.

Earn your own DRK coins by mining at the multipool. Not only that, you can earn DRK using your old ASIC hardware on SHA256 and SCRYPT coins!

DarkCoin by xpool - DRK Multipool

PROP reward system
DRK Payouts
Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's
DDoS Protected
High Performance Backend
Simple setup and usage
0% Fees while in BETA
To mine:

How does it work?

xpool offers 3 different sets of coins to mine. SHA256, Scrypt and X11. Each algorithm runs on a shift. Currently there is no set interval as there needs to be enough found and confirmed blocks to make trading worthwhile on the exchanges. We don't want to finish a shift only to find out, the exchanges are going to eat up the payout in fees or limit the withdraw with a large minimum. The confirmed coins are traded throughout the duration of the shift automatically to maximize the profits from exchanging them into DRK. Once enough confirmed blocked are accumulated, the shift is moved into "Trading" status while all the exchanged coins are calculated into DRK and then queued for payment. Once all the coins are confirmed as successfully traded and exchanged, the DRK payments are sent.

As the pool picks up more hashing speed and sufficient DRK can be picked up from the exchanges, the shifts will be set to a schedule and payouts more frequent and less worry about the exchanges. This is a growing phase so the more hash support the better.
If a DRK block is found, there's no exchanging or loss of fees as it can simply be moved into the X11 payout queue.

The advantage of the pool is that you can utilize your older ASIC equipment to earn you the more desired DarkCoin.
Cheers and Happy Hashing!

Cheers!

I'm still trying to find hard facts, like what do you charge?  What is the expected loss (fees etc, in percentage) of trading.  Do you end up with smaller fees for some reason by exchanging in bulk?  I just can't figure out the facts?  Thanks for info Cheesy  I am tempted, but I'm no catch as I have no real equipment, LOL.  Just wondering if using my antminer here would make it better for me?

well prop payout is not what i see sorry for saying wen i do mine same kind x11 coin,
and have about 7600 shares i get allot more coins not the micro coins i did received from your pool : amount : 0.00168566 DRK !

i am deeply sadly in this pool because i mine x11 protocol so wy exchange and trade Huh? this darkcoin is x11 right ?  prop stats should give way more coins then you guys did !

we just been new to this darkcoin becouse we believe that it cant be some coin in the future, we mine for our project , see link in my signature,

really sad ..........

As my posts  indicates  there are no pool fees right now. Dark blocks don't loose any value as I do not have to send them through the exchanges. Other than that the exchanges fees are typical and different on each exchange so can't estimate the loss there but the coins are exchanged at the most profitable one.

I can't  comment on your hardware but you can't mine it directly with an antminer so it seems worth it to get dark coin for mining sha256

Cheers!

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

Stuff that's worth a damn sells itself. You don't need PR. The only people suggesting this are people who trade and have a sad that it dips short term on other derptraders' manipulations.

Keep calm and hodl...

Thanks for the analysis. I am no chart man but I got the message haha. Isn't most of this bot trades anyways? From what I understand these will be ultimately flipped back to BTC at the right moments. This is why only the big buys seem like real orders. These rest are not suddenly discovering the benefits of LTC.

First pass (it might look totally different by Tuesday):

Darkcoin Begins Paying Nodes From Block Rewards

Darkcoin’s much anticipated payments system to Master Nodes went live last week with node operators finally receiving a share of Darkcoins from miners block rewards.
After the first hard fork attempt to implement payments to Master Nodes caused the Darkcoin network to fork into several chains, the developers were forced to temporarily abandon the payments system.

The Master Nodes are part of Darkcoins privacy system which anonymises users through the Nodes by routing bundles of transactions from several people through them which renders the block chain incomprehensible to those trying to track spending patterns.

To prevent rouge Nodes being created which could overwhelm the network with bad actors, the Darkcoin developers have made it financially difficult to operate a Master Node.
To run a Master Node, each node requires a wallet with 1,000 DRK, around $9,500 at time of writing, to be available in order for the network to recognise that nodes are available for mixing.

This 1,000 DRK requirement has been called a ‘Proof of Service’ feature by the Darkcoin community, as it is a way for nodes to prove they are available to serve the network. The high price to operate a Node makes it financially difficult for most people to operate rogue nodes.
In return for setting up a Master Node and making it available for service, the network pays Nodes 20% of block rewards directly from the miners. It was this payment system which caused the recent Darkcoin fork.

The second attempt to implement the payment system was changed to a two-stage fork, which became known as a spork by the community. The network was updated, but pools and old wallets were not forced to update immediately.

The second stage of the network update due in the next few weeks will see an enforced ban from the network if pools do not update. This will prevent them from keeping payments to Master Nodes.
The use of Master Nodes and financially incentives through a share of the block rewards could be a way for other alt-coins and even Bitcoin to ensure their network is secured.

At present each Node is expected to receive random payments of around 1 DRK per day, but like mining the more nodes that join the network, the lower the reward per node, so node operators are gambling the price of Darkcoin will continue to rise.

Darkcoin will seek to implement its main anonymity features through the Master Nodes which are elected at random to carry out mixing of transactions. Once this feature is added, additional services can be conducted through the Master Nodes, enabling them to earn fees.
