Just spotted another potential fopaux in the NY crypto licences.

200.4 (a)(9) - provide details of:

Quote
details of all banking arrangements;

Aside from crypto having the potential to be self-banking in the future, some crypto businesses have to hide their real activities from banks, because they get their accounts shutdown.

The regulators regulate the banks. As part of their regulatory investigations they will be able to ask banks to provide information about firms that apply for crypto licences - they will more than likely have to do it for their own due diligence, but that is not a dead certainty.

So now a firm applying to get regulated, is very likely to have its banking activities revoked.  Huh

Anyone who can read a chart can read that the Cloak coin supply left the miners hands a long time ago. Keep talking your shit though it's entertaining to watch the violist play on the Titanic.
The Titanic. Hmm, ah yes, you mean the cryptocurrency that just topped 800 masternodes today. Right.
It's amazing that people still can't see the powderkeg that the DRK team has created when it's so public, sitting right in front of them, right out in the open.

Too late though.. Cloak has already figured it out and wil always do it better then drk.

PoSA is out and in the open..

Bouyaaa!
Here is why I don't touch currencies like Cloakcoin and Blackcoin.
One of the strengths of Bitcoin and Darkcoin lies in the ongoing proof of work. Anyone entering the field today can see that there are still lots of coins left to be mined. This fact subtly enhances the appeal to newcomers. When a newcomer first sees the capital investment required to secure a PoW network, it strikes an impression. The GPU and ASIC farms actually lend credibility to the concept of and value within cryptocurrencies, as they provide a tangible link between the currencies and the real world. I won't even touch upon the security reasons for PoW vs. PoS.

Why did Cloakcoin only have a 7 day proof of work? To grossly reward the miners with the full distribution of coins up front (minus the inflation subsidy). This is disguised as fair distribution when, in today's reality of renting mining rigs by the day, it enables the equivalent of instamining the full supply. It's cheating, plain and simple.

It has been well discussed how Darkcoin did not have a smooth launch. Say what you want about the early days, accidental instamine or otherwise. At least the community can say that only 20% of the full supply is out there. Darkcoin is designed for the long haul, just like Bitcoin, and I applaud Evan and team for taking the long view.

Ahaha, I'd assumed cloak was garbage, but I didn't realise it was this rotten. Seriously, you'd have to be clinically cretinous to throw money at such junk.

While I'm stating my frank opinions about other cryptocoins, I read up on Etherium yesterday - what a fucking joke. The whole 'let's make a simple to use cross platform scripting language' thing sounds great, until you realise that python already exists and python doesn't cost you a never ending stream of money to deploy your apps. The Ether supply has no upper bound, you have to keep buying it for your miracle apps to keep working anywhere. Fuck. Right. Off. You'd have to be even thicker than a cloak gobbler to fall for that, but thousands have.

Somewhere there is a retard factory in full swing and I'd buy shares in it if I could, because business is booming!

Anyone who can read a chart can read that the Cloak coin supply left the miners hands a long time ago. Keep talking your shit though it's entertaining to watch the violist play on the Titanic.

The miners were smarter than you are then.  Grin

Well, then if your not a Troll, why do you keep saying people in this thread are stupid,

why do you keep going on, and on, about my daddy can beat your daddy...

and when i ask you questions you keep flanking them, because you know your posts have been calling people sheep

you cannot win this argument when all im doing is repeating what you have said...

blah blah....

RIGHT MR. BOB...your back.  Its also been months waiting for BTC bagholders to get to $1200.00 again! Until you can address the BTC $1200.00 down to ummmm $591.00...and languishing there for months...your arguments are futile.  Investors know cycles...Bob.  Until you can provide an intelligent argument that is not based on you trying to screw people from making smart investments....You my friend are on ignore...

You cant compare btc to drk or their cycles. Yes I may have made my fortune "on the backs of others" but the people who bought my btc at $1000 will still make money if they have strong hands as we all know btc is going to 50K each in our lifetime.

Drk though will only continue to drop as other coins are doing what drk was supposed to do, and their doing it better and faster.

True, that's why Darkcoin has block reward that gets higher if the hash rate gets lower, so the incentive to mine when other miners quit is compelling.

This might seem surprisingly genius, but then again, what else but awesomeness could you expect from the industry leader? Smiley

BS...according to Bob!

Actually...I'm not going to ignore you!  I'm going to make it a point to call your shit out Bob!  If you like cloak...great...I own cloak too Bob!  Yes thats right I'm a diversified investor Bob...I don't go over to your thread and spew shit and lies to investors who are trying to find relevant investment advise.  I'm going to spend the next how ever long it takes to call your shit out Bob...to everyone and tell everyone to ignore you because not once have you asked to address a serious question or concern about Darkcoin technology Bob.  That tells everyone...your a red flag...a fuddster.  So...again Bob...I have a couple dozen list of BTC bagholders that would love to engage in a conversation with you about your wise "professional" investment advise is.  They would like to know ...what your all knowing professional wisdom has to say.  Bob

Sweet!! I love that panel ! Kristov has already "contributed" a little to the code too. This is serious business for DRK Grin

So you have a guy that has "contributed" to the code getting paid to review the code?  Wow.  That doesn't make any sense.  I thought the code was going to be reviewed by an outside party.

Does anyone from the Darkcoin club want to address the issue of a supposedly independent individual reviewing the code having contributed to the code?

Definitely isn't an impartial review now is it?

Ben Bernanke
Guy Laliberte
and may other billionaires who are highly respected are high school dropouts like myself!

So you're a billionaire now? Analogies work if you understand what they are, go back to high school.
Bernake went to harvard and mit.

Now you are just lying...

Bernanke was educated at East Elementary, J. V. Martin Junior High, and Dillon High School, where he was class valedictorian and played saxophone in the marching band.[16] Since Dillon High School did not offer calculus at the time, Bernanke taught it to himself.[17][18] Bernanke scored 1590 out of 1600 on the SAT.[17][19]

Bernanke attended Harvard University, where he lived in Winthrop House, as did the future CEO of Goldman Sachs, Lloyd Blankfein, and graduated with an A.B. degree, and later with an A.M. in economics summa cum laude in 1975. He received a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1979 after completing and defending his dissertation, Long-Term Commitments, Dynamic Optimization, and the Business Cycle. Bernanke's thesis adviser was the future governor of the Bank of Israel, Stanley Fischer, and his readers included Irwin S. Bernstein, Rüdiger Dornbusch, Robert Solow, and Peter Diamond of MIT and Dale Jorgenson of Harvard.[20]
