If they start putting up an excessive number of posts, report them as spam. Eventually, they'll just get themselves banned if they can't behave.
I'll be the first to say I've fed a few trolls here today. BUT, we can keep putting these persistent trollers on ignore, no problem.
I just ask the DRK community not to troll the other threads.  The merits of this coin and community stand on their own. Stay classy, Darkcoiners.

I agree whole heartedly.  I have never stooped to such low levels...and we as a community don't need to as well.   You'll never read a posting of mine elsewhere in any other crypto trashing their coin.  I respect the peoples choice to invest it what they wish, right or wrong...

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

The sad thing for them is that trolling won't accomplish much. The people who have money to invest have it for a reason. They will take the time to research, check out the testing on Darkcointalk, etc.  Some random guy blathering about how his vaporware solution will conquer the world is not likely to influence them.

Actually, I think the sad thing is this holds back innovation across all crypto.

Altcoins based off bitcoin can show evolutionary traits. The market decides which features are worth rewarding. Bitcoin and bitcoin projects can take note from innovation - including failures from attempts at innovation - and benefit or let projects evolve around it.

Trolling is misdirected. If you want to troll anything, troll the $trillion FX market. There is plenty of money in the world to make someone with a handful of DRK or BTC rich beyond the dreams of avarice.

Instead of hacking at the foundations of crypto, people would do better to hack at the foundations of the established banking system that does society more harm than good.

i posted on cloakcoin, about both sides stop FUDDING, FLAMING, TROLLING, and the developer wrote the following:

why do we have to have these "pissing contests" why can we not agree on, that we dont agree on the methods we use, who knows,
maybe sometime in the future, we will both be at the top of the list...

so, i think we should, for the good of the industry, try and behave....

Totally agree, we should be able to go about our business without flame wars and be respectful of other coins innovations.

And a friendly reminder, even if it is tempting to advertise your whatever shitcoin in the market leader's thread for maximum exposure, it's still considered a big no no in BitcoinTalk community, and only makes your own coin seem desperate. Keep it on-topic from now on, thanks!
Indeed. What they do not get is that by posting here they get a huge negative response (in addition to their coins respective thread/s), which as a result has the opposite effect than desired.

I know...but its so hard when people are obviously so ignorant!  its mind bending...I think I've made my point with Bob...he's a tool, enough said.

I haven't tended my little review of this project for a while, other than little snips here and there.

I will correct that over the next few weeks as we approach RC4 and the landscape on regulations pans out.

Question: Let's say I have more than 10 addresses, is there a quick and easy way to get a report of the total number of coins combined in all those addresses? Asking because it is quite hard to keep track of your net worth in DRK if you own a bunch of masternodes.

 Grin Grin  Shocked  Grin Grin

Sweet!! I love that panel ! Kristov has already "contributed" a little to the code too. This is serious business for DRK Grin

So you have a guy that has "contributed" to the code getting paid to review the code?  Wow.  That doesn't make any sense.  I thought the code was going to be reviewed by an outside party.

Does anyone from the Darkcoin club want to address the issue of a supposedly independent individual reviewing the code having contributed to the code?

Definitely isn't an impartial review now is it?

Mr. Shojayxt...don't invest in Dark if you don't like that strategy...I'm certain K. Atlas would have some choice words for you if you are saying his review was bought for and your calling his integrity out. That whole $2000 is piss in a bucket for someone to devote time to look at code.... maybe send K. Atlas an email and tell him that he's biased.

I guess you'll just have to wait till it goes opens source...so invest elsewhere Mr Shojayxt.

Don't try and change the subject.  As for K.Atlas, why would he have any choice words for me?  I don't know the guy and haven't called his integrity into question.

I merely asked a question regarding the code review after learning that Kristov  has already "contributed" a little to the code.  I thought the code was to be reviewed by an impartial party.  How is it impartial if the individual reviewing the code has contributed code to Darkcoin?

I'll answer for you since your incapable of answering the question yourself.

The answer is it isn't.

maybe send K. Atlas an email and tell him that he's biased.

I don't need to tell anyone anything.  If they had any contribution to Darkcoin then they are biased.  That doesn't mean that they would not conduct an honest review but for months now you guys have been talking about an outside party reviewing the code.  Now we find out that the reviewer has been involved with Darkcoin and has contributed.  Can't you see how that looks.

And stop your lame attempt to make it look like I am in some way attacking this individual.  I asked a legitimate question that you failed to answer and instead tried to make it appear that I had somehow attacked K.Atlas who I do not know and have nothing bad to say about.

One more question.  Shouldn't you be buying up that cheap DRK that weak hands are dumping instead of trying to make up stories?

DRK is good enough to draw the best outsiders in. That should tell you something.

How is someone an outsider if they have contributed a little to the code?

Good God Bob, do you not know what an ass you're making of yourself?  Seriously, you sound like a 12 year old (when I'm forced to read what you say because people keep QUOTING you, eh-hum)  What the fuck is your problem?  Do you think annoying us is going to lower the price?  Why am I asking, you're obviously in need of attention.

I guess my real point is, please don't quote bob.  I don't mind your answering him, but I don't want to see his dribble, it makes me depressed about humanity, honestly.  Please don't quote, or quote and put something humorous in place of his dribble, that's always fun Smiley  Thank you Cheesy

Oh, and same for Shojayxt please.

Sorry Tante.  I just want people to know that these 2 clowns have an agenda and are trying to pass misinformation to investors.  I respect you and i'm going to try to snip out all the crap these 2 clowns are trying to spew so you and others dont have to see this dribble.  PM if you have any ideas on how we can clip these dorks from continually making asses themselves.

How am I passing misinformation to investors?  It was a member of your community that said Kristov has already "contributed" a little to the code too.

I asked how that is an impartial code review and not one of you is willing to answer the question.

Excellent article.

I hadn't considered this in such terms:

Quote
there is only one chance in 1.3 trillion for someone with twenty five masternodes (an investment of around 160,000 usd at today's price) to control the eight involved ones and trace the transaction.

Yeah great article/propoganda.

From the author of the article:

Disclaimer: I own a significant amount of darkcoins and I am quite involved with the Darkcoin community. I'm obviously biased,

The article is from another Darkcoin fanboy with a platform.

It's more of an advertisement than anything.

Nice try though.

I know I shouldn't quote you, but I'm the fanboy/author and I have to do it.

Yes, I'm a darkcoin owner and I'm proud of it. Yes, I'm biased. So you are. The difference is that I'm open with everything, you hide behind a pseudonym and I can't know your motives.

Don't bother to answer, I'm out after this message to keep on with my life. You should go get one.

It was a very well written article Fernando. Thanks for taking the time to write and publish it.

Bobsurplus, Shojayxt and Coolstoryteller the nature of your postings that are so desperate in desire to put DRK down, only indicate the high levels of fear you're harbouring that you're most likely on the wrong train. You'd be better off spending your time assisting the dev's and people working on your preferred coin. All of human history will show you never ending examples that the process you're employing here isn't going to do anything except make DRK stronger.

Nobody's harboring any fear.  If I wanted on this train I can get on anytime I want.  I can still buy DRK if I wanted to right?

You are quoting the supreme genius. And you seem to have arguments to do in this thread. I do like and believe in XC, however their OPs seem to be nostalgic about the totalitarianism state and do not like any opinion that doesn't obey to the rule "shut the fuck up because you are not on my opinion". So DRK makes a perfect sense. At least people can comprehend, little by little, the great idea about ANONYMOUS PAYMENTS, that's the greatest thing about DRK: the community, which is exceptional. And last but not least - the Dark project seems to evolve without hiding these so precious and undisclosed "ultra, super, high" features that all other supercilious "architects" of the future of the anon markets pretend to know.

Instead of calling people names maybe you can answer my question.  How is it an outside audit if the auditor has contributed?

It's a simple question that nobody seems to be able or wants to answer.  Is GhostPlayer just making things up?  Because that's who said that this K. Atlas has contributed to the code.  So I ask again.

How is it an independent review when the person reviewing has contributed to Darkcoin code.  Pretty straight forward question.  No FUD.  Just a question.  But you guys refuse to answer it likely because you know what the answer is and it isn't what you want people to hear.
