Aw fuck, one of my EVGA 1300W power supplies just blew up...

PS protected itself from overcurrent as one of the Neptune cubes shorted a DC/DC converter. Magic smoke + fire!

OK I am ready, just post it when you have your wallet ready. It would be ideal if it wasnt an exchange address but your own wallet, so you play with Darksend which is the whole idea.

On a second though, that might be seen as bribing them. Better just pay their fees and order a coverage on Darkcoin.

Well 5 DRK is about 15 USD I dont think you can bribe people with that, I was thinking techcrunch, wired.com,  GoCoin executives, Bitpay executives, all relevant payment processor executives, even Richard Branson if you have his address. These are busy people but maybe if we sent them a nice presentation on Darkcoin and Darksend, a wallet and a few coins maybe they take the time to play with it and see how a Darksend transaction looks like. We have nothing to loose if anyone from the mailing list replies we are already winning.

What is wrong with just buying paid adds in those popular magazines, websites including BBC, CNN etc. ? Our community can easily afford it.

Nothing wrong with that, that can be a separate initiative, I was just looking to get key players acquainted with Darkcoin and hopefully some spontaneous PR or addition to relevant payment processors, exchanges, etc. as a consequence if they like what they see.

Paid ads, can be a separate initiative more focused on the general public.

According to the below article, some celebrities charge to post an add on their twitter. If we could find a celebrity and make him/her Darkcoin fan, we might get some pretty good publicity as well. Of course all of these should be parallel to other PR activities.

"10 Tweets from Kim Kardashian: And that might be down to less than 8 tweets as she often charges more for some clients. I’m guessing she’ll give you a bulk rate.  Celebrities with over 2 million followers are generally getting $5000 per tweet or less but the response rate varies greatly depending on the devotion of the fans.  You could save a little and get Lindsay Lohan for $2800."

While enjoying that the price is going up again, why not also enjoying the DarkCoin Orchestral Anthem, especially composed for the DRK:

https://soundcloud.com/tcherkin/darkcoin-orchestral-anthem-short-version

Or maybe listen to the whole "The Order of the Dark Coin" - Orchestral Suite:

https://soundcloud.com/tcherkin/the-order-of-the-dark-coin-orchestral-suite

If you enjoy this music, feel free to download it and use it to all projects concerning DarkCoin

I also appreciate your DRK donations here: XiG7xsjFrAwtk3iAmxgapycErnErLCxuJQ

Thanks! Smiley

tcherkin created a magnificent orchestral anthem for darkcoin. The short version is only 36 seconds, so it's not too intrusive for the darkcoin.io website. It would be great to hear that anthem when you open the darkcoin.io website. It gives the website that little extra edge/push. What are your thoughts on this?

Absolute not. No sound on webpages. Those are the pages that many people won't bother with due to the annoyance factor.

That's like an unspoken rule to never load sound files on webpages unless asked.
