Here you go. With an additional 12 degrees of slant. They look VERY similar. I don't take credit for the initial design, I just tuned the S to a stronger one and actually reduced the slant while keeping the style which I was impressed with.

Yes, of course it is, and there's almost no doubt that you will have slandered Evan Duffield and Darkcoin/DASH in conversations you've had given the extraordinary level of hostility you're displaying (and if these have happened online, as they're likely to have, who knows whether you've been recorded spewing out your hate, anger and slander?)

But, as you can see, your "work" is only helping the situation. If you continue on down this track you'll no doubt achieve a high level of Barbara Streisand effect on behalf of DASH so you'll only be accelerating its success (even more frustration for you....hell!).

As I said , the life of a troll is a complex one and ultimately we can only feel sorry for how pathetic you are (but take heart, your DASH investment's going to do very well).

I know the Euro-symbol has 2 "dashes", but the similarity with the upper D is striking.

because the privacy-model is pretty strong,
and a lot of people got informed by the letstalkbitcoin-podcast for the first time in depth.

and the re-branding is thought to give it a more mass-adoption friendly name.


edit: and the fact that btc looks pretty stable compared to 2014 is likely also a factor.

Anyone else think PoW anon coins probably have no future?  Governments will obviously legislate against anything that violates their AML / KYC laws.  PoW mining pools offer a large attack vector for governments to just walk up and either shut them down or take them over, maybe throw you in jail in the process.  At that point, they will likely have already passed a telephone book of laws prohibiting you from participating in one of those networks.

I haven't followed Darkcoin much lately, so I don't know what it's plans are, but it seems to me like the only possible way this coin can succeed years down the road is copy the Bitshares model and remove PoW completely, making each masternode a delegate.

I don't know, but what is evident is that DRK/DASH team and Evan specifically is capable of making big moves very fast. Their ability to adapt to changing environment has been proven to be far better and flexible than most coins out there. I'm sure they won't spend 6 months to mull over block size adjustment or w/e if the need arises, they'll just make it happen.

It's really quite amusing that our resident troll likes to come across as intelligent and is condescending to those who misuse a word, but doesn't understand that the fewer Masternodes there are, the better it is for the owners - they receive payments more often. There is no need to attract new members in order to be paid, a proportion of the block reward is automatically sent to the masternode holders. Implying that it is like some sort of ponzi scheme says to me that this guy does not understand very well the concept of a ponzi scheme. That said it's clear that the guy has a few screws loose, perhaps he thinks he understands perfectly.

I don't know, but what is evident is that DRK/DASH team and Evan specifically is capable of making big moves very fast. Their ability to adapt to changing environment has been proven to be far better and flexible than most coins out there. I'm sure they won't spend 6 months to mull over block size adjustment or w/e if the need arises, they'll just make it happen. 

The Bitcoin community has spent TWO YEARS arguing over increasing the block size, and they *still* haven't arrived at a consensus, let alone implemented anything!

It is interesting behaviour. His claims are so preposterous that it only takes a few minutes research to render them utterly transparent.

Still hardly any sell side on the order book.... To put this in perspective we have 2380 masternodes, the purchase of just 5 Masternode's worth of Dash will take this to 0.023! Nobody wants to sell Dash in any great quantity at these prices. Expect demand to continue outstripping supply at the moment...
