Don't know if you saw my last reply but you can gather this info on bitcoinwisdom.com.

No coverage of DRK on Bittrex at bitcoinwisdom. Bittrex are showing 429 BTC 24h volume today, which is about 1/3 of Cryptsy's volume.

Are you guys serious? NOTHING I did was trolling. I wasn't laying any spiders webs. I was attempting to promote a better place for xmr vs drk debate than in our respective threads. THATS ALL.

EXTRA, EXTRA. READ ALL ABOUT IT.

$5.35.

Shut the fuck up.

DASH must mean 'sell your house and put everything on this little fucker' in Chinese or something.

I want what this guy is on.

On another note, BTC-E USD price lower than others...don't think I've seen that personally.

I'm guessing you meant "higher" as it's currently around a dollar higher than Bitstamp and Bitfinex (and yes that is very unusual).

yep...corrected it right after.

Anyone has an idea of how to get Volume data for DRK for the last 10 to 15 days, a way to get daily volumes for a period of time would be great. Need it for official DASH business. If any of our traders can help I would really appreciate it.

Cumulative volume across all exchanges might be tricky but Cryptsy has a API call in the V2 version which will get OHLCV series by day/hour/minute

Try this and use the volume info for the period of interest to you:

https://www.cryptsy.com/api/v2/markets/155/ohlc?interval=day

Yeah cumulative volume for all exchanges is what I was looking for, it indeed seems tricky. If anyone has any idea on how to get this info I would really appreciate it.

Don't know if you saw my last reply but you can gather this info on bitcoinwisdom.com.

Yes but there is only 3 markets there Bitfinex, Cryptsy and Poloniex or they show volumes for all exchanges somewhere that I am not seeing?

No coverage of DRK on Bittrex at bitcoinwisdom

In that case you can use the bittrex api

OK so the whitepaper is simple enough. Levering up the existing masternode infrastructure to get 0 confirmation transactions that are more secure than a 0 confirmation bitcoin transaction but less secure than a 1 confirmation bitcoin transaction. You have instant transactions in the same way that merchants can accept 0 confirmation bitcoin transactions so long as they have a direct connection to a few reliable nodes spread out over the planet that are sniffing for doublespends.

That's fair enough. I wouldn't go so far as to say you have created instant transactions, but i wouldn't either say that what you have created here is useless, it is definitely a useful idea. You can instantly buy a soda or maybe a t-shirt, but you definitely can not instantly buy a car with this scheme.

As I understand it, you certainly CAN buy a car using instantx.  The inputs will be locked by the masternodes and other transactions using them will be rejected by them.  The car purchase will be the only one in the next block.
That's my understanding too. It's a legitimate question though worthy of a definitive response from one of the devs or someone (minotaur26) from the ambassadors group etc.

I think you need to do it one exchange at a time

I don't think you can get an historic 24 hour volume series from the Bittrex api. Best just to guesstimate it as 1/3 Cryptsy volume.

Cryptocoincharts.info seems to keep data of most exchanges, still a lot of adding to do. I think they should start keeping Total Volume/ time charts.

Yeah I know. I've been trying to get them to publish it for about 12 months now …

Really, as a best estimate 1/3 Cryptsy volume is probably a bit high. Bittrex DRK volume has until recently been more like 1/4 of Cryptsy's volume but they are picking up market share.

I never mining nor trade with the DRK so I was wondering why his price increased strongly. Thank you.

Why the price is starting to go up.....

If you want to learn more about the Dash project, former DRK, don't forget to listen to the most recent LetsTalkBitcoin episode. It is a full interview with Dash's lead developer Evan Duffield and includes very good explanations about the main features of the platform and future plans.

Is there a press release coming out for the official rebranding this week? I know cointelegraph has got to be getting ready to do a story. It would be nice to see a coindesk write up too but i won't hold my breath.

Major exchanges and partners know to convert from Darkcoin to Dash on the 25th (as per announcement).  You'll see the begining of this migration over the next 24 hours or so.  It will be a bit of a process that is not likely to be instant, but will run it's full course in the near term.

Okay so I went to the first page of your thread. The presence of smooth and iCEBREAKER were enough to turn me off completely but I persevered. I then read your first post where you talk about DRK/DASH being "so god damn inelegant" and "the devs decided to take the whack a mole approach" and "its just so god damned ugly" and "it's a vulgar solution to the problem" and then your "nomination for dark mascot" picture of some sort of mutant deformed cartoon character.

And after such a critical and non-objective posting that just screams "yet another Monero fanboy pissed off about DRK's success" you wonder why we're not interested?

You're all the same and I don't want to have anything to do with you.

Go away.
Hey there R.Man, I wasn't joking; this guy is not simply inelegant and crude, he is evil and dangerous. Please do not give him the service of quoting him. I have no desire to read his venomous intentional deceit even second hand. As a teacher I put up with stupidity and do my best to try and respectfully and lovingly educate it out of existence. Anon136 is the kind of character who has no idea what respect or love for people or truth is, and think that both are instruments meant to be bent to his own selfish ends and have no objective meaning otherwise. He is like Pilate who pretends to be an impartial judge, then washes his hands, releases a murder, and then executes an innocent man to protect his own position.

Leave him to talk to himself, he deserves no better company.

Je le hibou, suis ↄash; because while the days are evil good must hurry, lest evil parading as an agent of light restrict its activity.
