I offer a 30 darkcoin Bounty to someone abble to fix my problem with my R9 290.
Summary: my cards started at 2.4MH/S and after 10 minutes they loose 10% and are stable at 2.1MH/S
This happened on all my cards, on all motherboards, under BAMT.
I noticed all the cards have the drop on the exact same second (on one motherboard of course).
I have 2 other cards on windows 8.1 that are stable at 2.5MH and from time to tim (this morning) I have the same drop (watercooling cards)
When the drop happened, the only way to recover the lost hash is to shutdown the machine (a mine restart did not do the job: I don't have higher hashrate)
If I put another card on the same rig, after 10 min, all the 290 will have a drop, and the other card (7950/270/7970) will not have any loss.
If I use thoses cards to mine Scrypt coins, no drop.
Maybe your cards are just running too hot after 10 minutes, so card power management lower frequency to stay within TPD. Monitor card frequency for some time to see if this is the case. If yes you need to increase Power limit settings to 20% in Catalyst Control Center or in config file.

out of several rigs all using the same set-up and configs, this rig is the only one playing up. I'm wonder if I should try a pool server closer to the UK: Like I said, every now and then there is a bunch of rejects that lead to this rig being banned from drkpool. I'll fix that, it's a bit sensitive. We had people running scrypt and it was recording all of their shares for 10 minutes before banning them, so I patched the code to be much more quick about it, maybe I overdid it. Thanks I was going to play around with settings today, but before I started the rejects look much, much better today. Most are at ~0%, some at ~3%. Not sure why yet. EDIT - add pic and comment on ASICs Just an opinion - Scrypt ASICs are coming out this summer. A number of players are entering the ring and pre-orders are taking place. GPU miners will be left wondering what to do. Some will multipool, some rent out their rigs, some bounce around looking for something else. Litecoin has courted ASICs. The active GPU miners wanted a code change, but the devs didn't want to risk changing the code now LTC is so popular, so by default ASIC makers felt secure in investing in ASICs technology. The GPU miners will end up finding their way to Darkcoin once the difficulty goes up for Litecoin, the price of darkcoin shoots up and there is a liquid market for the coins mined. If possible, it might be an idea to build in some implied threat to ASICs manufacturers that if they put up risk equity to produce equipment, the landscape may change. This is (1) a deterrent to anyone wanting to find a way to produce ASICs, (2) a long-term commitment to CPU / GPU miners and (3) no one would buy an ASIC if there was a possibility that it might be turned into a paperweight. Litecoin said their scrypt would be ASIC resistant and it isn't. It might not be necessary to do anything for Darkcoin, but then again what's the cost of an implied threat if someone wanted to give it a go? Just a thought.

Well that transaction never hit the network, so it's still on their end.

Well that transaction never hit the network, so it's still on their end. so you mean there is no way the coins will just disappear and go to the darkside of the dark?...in that case they should make some auditing of their wallet maybe your right the coins still in their end, but plus point to their support they are very responsive and and helpful they told me they will take all responsibility of the coin so i have nothing to worry...thanks a lot on your reply

What the heck is going on with the price of DRK?
one point is distributing the hash-power of the miner 1. drk.coinmine.pl with 4 Gh/s -> 40 % 2. dark.suchpool.pw with 2.8 Gh/s -> 30 % 3. drkpool.com with 0.6 Gh/s -> 6 % 4. lotterymining.com with 0.6 Gh/s -> 6 % 5. p2p-pool with 0.25 Gh/s -> 2.5 % it would be optimal to have 4 big pools with 20 % (now 2 Gh/s) - when 1 of the 4 pools is down then the other 3 have each 30 % when you are an investor in this DRK and you realize that the network is not safe - you will not invest in it! please distribute your hashrate wisely! any updates on this? P2Pool must become bigger.
Centralized systems are always a risk !
Get a look at http://darkcoin.mine.nu24/7 Miners should really consider P2Pool and mine on the closer node to them. They can add several backup nodes and wherever they mine on the P2Pool Network they will keep on earning the same DRK amount. I agree. I have a p2p running at http://54.186.19.80:7903. I should get it listed.

Hopefully they will get your issue resolved. im aware of that issue but luckily they return my onhold btc, i like the exchange because deposit/withrawal/trade are fast and you can chat to their support on skype to solve the issue faster, the only problem is the volume of the coins there is still low hope it become bigger and more secure in the future.

Just a quick tip, I had two R9 280x's in a desktop tower running at 69C and 81C temperatures respectively. I turned the tower on its side and the exhaust evacuation is much better, saved me 3C with each. Long term I guess I'm not worried too much about burning these cards out, but the longer they can last the better

Way to give me an existential crisis. I'm pretty sure I'm not a robot but I can't say for 100% certain. Would I know if I was a robot? Maybe I'm just programmed to think I'm human. Ok. I replied to your PM. Too funny!

I check classic stat page. Blocks found in last day:
Note that blocks may have been orphaned from the P2Pool chain and so not be here.
Block found, but no sharechain to associated. Now you chan check this page. http://darkcoin.mine.nu/bottom has recent blocks found by darkcoin p2pools. 00000000003ec809675f6949b01eadfa46d60294342316731fcfca1480186a23 listed

1. the high rejection-rate at 3 - 6 % - it is significantly lowering my hashrate --> I think lowering intensity will help
this is a good intensity-joke though i'm mining for 2 1/2 years in this crypto-world with the same settings i'm getting at a "standard"-pool always < 1 % rejects (0.2 to 0.8 %) but on a p2p-node ~ 4 % and more
