just for the record, I had to force the official site darkcoin.io to use https just now.
as my tinfoil-hat-ometer has just gone from a flicker to a 0.5, could someone please check https as I got that on both my pcs  Huh

You mean you had to enter the https:// manually?
I just checked and I had to too, in chrome btw. When I just go to darkcoin.io it doesn't have https:// in front of the address but when I click on any link on the site the new page loads with https.

yes exactly that. I'm on firefox/linux.

Thanks for the extra info Otoh.

I'm guessing this is absolutely nothing, but the timing was too coincidental.

Defaults to HTTPS just fine for me on Firefox, Chrome, and IE in Windows. But for the last couple of weeks (until today) it would default to HTTP on Firefox/Windows.

I'am really interessted on starting on Alternative coins world . not sure which one tho . Darkcoin seems to be very interessting also very annonymus more then Bitcoin which can be very useful . and some people told me that there is a pump on the price too .
is OP the creator of Darkcoin ? I really don't know what to choose between Dogecoin , Litecoin & Darkcoin .

Have a look: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/darkcoin-an-assessment-of-its-investment-potential.4140/

The Darkcoin Chameleon was blown away by this article, and he took the liberty of making some minor editing fixes, adding some images and video, and posting the entire thing on Get Into The Dark.

I highly recommend sharing this link with anyone interested in long term holding of Darkcoin.

People are joking because this is one of the oldest FUD gimmicks since DRK history! Dont take it the wrong way. People are just tired of the same nonsense over and over again.

And honest users are really quick to be confused with the constant trolling over here.

Honestly, if you spend any time at all here or on DCT, you would know that this is the most professional team in the industry. These FUD attacks are baseless, and this is showing in the increased price and trust that is being put into the project. We are growing beyond these regurgitated attacks, they are becoming mundane.

w.t.f. just happened ?

A huge green spike just appeared in the market followed instantly by near 100 BTC buywall right at the top of the bid stack: 0.012.

Why have the markets suddenly sprung into action ?
