edit : weird that it originates from BTC-E, would exspect a large buy attack to start from Bitfinex..

".... I don't like the history of one bit" AWWW, muffin!  Loves the history of his scam mined coin, he was, after all, there at the start  There was nothing wrong with the history of Monero. It's one of if not the cleanest coins and launches in history. In reality the only ones who criticize it are Dash supporters defensively lashing out at anything they can because they don't like their history being put under the microscope. Even people like BlockaFett who have bothered to actually look into it have recognized that it isn't a scam. He still doesn't like how we dislike and criticize Dash, but that doesn't make Monero a scam. The miner crap you keep bringing up didn't matter at all. Everyone who wanted to mine could not only mine on their own computers easily enough but could pay for cloud mining and still mine at a profit. You could mine as much as you wanted and get as many coins as you wanted. The only real difference was that the people with the optimized miners had lower costs so their profit was higher (they still paid a lot though). There was effectively zero instamine (better than even most other honestly-launched coins with slowly difficulty adjustment). Access to coins or mining was not limited in any way whatsoever. Sorry for quoting the trolls guys but... I'm keeping this quote for future reference, this is gold. Smooth you are one of if not the most toxic person i have ever known of at BCT. I actually own quite a considerable amount of XMR and i am frankly embarrassed of your behaviour as a lead dev. I think you need to spend more time on doing what dev's do rather than comment on other coins. All this energy spent on XMR would have went a long way but rather you chose this path. Now you can come back and twist this post and my words until you turn blue in the face, but its becoming more apparent to me that you can polish a turd but at the end of the day its still a turd. I finally get why you do what you do, it makes perfect sense now. |

Good to have smooth posting here to keep us right on what's a scam, what isn't, partial scams, adherence to emission curves, distinction between premines, instamines and general crypto ethics. There is no better place to get the benefit of smooth's wisdom than in the Dash thread (His 80's haircut is also the 'business'). P.S. And apparently since I last posted we've now got 2-stars on coinmarketcap - nice ! |

Tao you need to be more careful with this kind of thing, this can be resolved as a mere misunderstanding as their admin has been offline since he acted prematurely and we are seeking an official answer. But this does not help, we need to be more prudent please and a little patient as everyone is in different time zones. |
