The trolls are busy bumping the thread again today and mods are busy deleting their troll post. It's a win win because the thread keeps getting bumped and a lot of the troll post are getting deleted. I'm reporting post daily on icebreaker and smoothie but i have the rest on ignore so someone else will need to report them. The main things i report them for is copy and paste re-post, altcoin advertising spam, trolling and off topic posting. One of their strategies is "operation noise" where they make a bunch of troll post to drowned out info like this..... Dash Video Series https://www.dash.org/dash-video-series/It's good to keep this info bumped every few pages which #R3KT's their little monero troll operation. Damn good info, the kind of thing one would expect to find in an announcements thread. As for the other stuff, that's what the report button is for. I've just started to use that feature! Thanks for reminding me. Image changed !!thank g o d for fernando, so much better now (sext time, we call that in the creative world ) i like that new picture. high troll active today and i can see the mods are busy deleting them. at some point the mods are going to get tired of them and ban them again. keep reporting the trolling!

Has anyone ever gone anywhere to "warn noobs"?
You just need to read the last pages of the "Monero speculation" thread to understand what all the Trolleros are doing here. The Monero project is just about to release a new version which is just an improvement to fix some bugs, which is nice of course. Nothing else. No real innovation, no real project ahead. And the Monero people and the markets are beginning to understand that. The only reason they are here is because try to flood this thread with the same topics and discussions every day is the only tactic they have left. It is a really sad show to watch from the sidelines.

http://www.coindesk.com/segregated-witness-bitcoin-block-size-debate/Segregated witness is perhaps best described as a novel workaround to the block size issue that affects how certain network variables are counted toward block size.
In bitcoin, transactions include one or more input fields showing where the funds come from, one or more output fields indicating where they’re going and a signature that validates that the owner had the ability to execute the transaction.
"Now signatures go into the 'from' field," Lightning Network developer Tadge Dryja explained. "[In segregated witness] the signature is separate."
More specifically, segregated witness takes the signature out of the transaction and puts the data into a Merkle tree in the coinbase component of the transaction, or the input of a generated transaction. This change would make transactions appear smaller to current nodes on the network, so that more could be included in a bitcoin block, even if blocks are still limited to 1MB by protocol rules.
“If the signatures would add 0.75MB [of capacity] to a block to a 1MB block, it would now be equivalent to 4MB,” developer Doug Roark said, echoing the description put forth by Maxwell and Wuille.
The appears to be an eloquent Band-Aid Is ED planning on getting our DEV's to tweak it? ...into some kinda of multi-layered wonder? hummm very interesting to say the least - repackaging the data They are going though all the effort of separating out signatures and then adding them in a different place just so they don't have to raise the block size. Have they really just resorted to same government tactics of hiding funds in different budgets?

Interesting jump towards $420, I guess we'll either see the price for BTC fall back or perhaps that the alts drop as to keep their $-value, as has been seen for DASH for the most part.

Evan we all know you want to constrict supply for DASh given you got a huge premine instamine in the first 48 hours of launch. Restricting supply benefits you and whomever was on the inner circle pre launch of DASH.

The ironic thing is this is pretty much the same line DASHers come up with to rationalize why people would criticize dash (GET SOME NEW MATERIAL AS IT IS GETTING OLD). Yet have the gall to say that critics of DASH are running out of material to criticize dash on when it appears that each week there is another hidden turd uncovered that was swept under the DASH rug to hide from plain view for noobs to see and use to decide if they want to be invested in DASH. Please stay on topic as we are not here to discuss Monero, but to discuss DASH.

That's a pretty big pile of shit to hide under the rug... I don't doubt the Dash team's talent or resolve, but this will haunt them until the end. That being said...btc's instamine is worse.

Really? Please explain how BTC instamined 1.5 million coins in 8 hours, and then dramatically slowed the emission rate as soon as they were done instamining Dashers like you are some of the stupidest individuals on the planet

No real innovation
What has eduffield innovated besides the instamine? Pretty much nothing. He failed at everything he tried to implement. X11 - switched around the position of 2 algorithms from chaincoin DarkSend - Poorly implemented version of Gmax's coinjoin masternode blinding - fail I2P integration - fail The list of failures goes on and on. Yes! Please make sure to start mixing your coins atleast 48 hours before you need to send an anon transaction. Glad to hear you sold a coin with instant protocol-level mixing. Make sure you buy more DASH social experiment token complete with horribly slow unusable mixing Mensa candidates in this thread

In that case, you are correct. We agree. I was referring to the billion dollars in btc sitting in an address, untouched since 2009. Mined by "satoshi". Could be the biggest scam of all time. Playing the long game, but inadvertently sparking a tech. revolution in the process. That's bad news waiting to happen. With that being said, I'm not a Dasher by any means. Just an opportunist. I like Dash at these prices. Times are good. We have legendary and not so legendary trolls raping this thread relentlessly at the moment, and that only makes things incredibly entertaining and hilarious.

Only part i'll disagree with is liking DASH at these prices. It still seems horribly overpriced... there's no reason why the price won't continue the downward slope for the next 12-18 months. The decline will likely be even more pronounced in time for the Miami conference, when Evan delivers his trademark "nothing but fluff" routine

Duffield is taking advantage of simple-minded people like Tante's ontological confusion. They don't understand the technical background, and so put their faith into charismatic individuals (IE trusted third parties) in order to make some kind of sense of the world and avoid cognitive dissonance.
tante you say? the testimonial WoooooW as if DASH has already reached a billion dollar marketcap kinda like Micheal Jordan jumping from the 3 point lane for a dunk hovering over 5 defensive players Tante is the bait..Evan is the hook P.S. testimonial date Ferbruary 16, 2014...........DASH launch date January 18, 2014
