No, but if you do a git pull on an already updated sentinel, you will get informed that no files has been changed or that it is already up to date (i cant really remember what the linux report says exactly,  but you will know its up to date)

Dash could simply take away the limit there would be no issue, but people are swept up on the theory thats its something now to truly have a blocklimit. Bitcoin works just fine with out a blocklimit whatsoever as intended

Dash already has 8x Bitcoin capacity for processing transactions (original 4x over Bitcoin but then Dash upgraded to 2MB Blocksize). Dash has much larger blocksizes scheduled
and can achieve on-chain scalability relatively easy by implementing blocksize increase up to 10MB size if necessary, higher blocksizes will most likely need more study but looks
doable by using certain technologies. When you have a high value network like Dash, upgrading to higher blocksizes needs to be researched and tested thoroughly in order to not
put the network at risk. Totally removing the limit could brings unforeseen side effects or open up new attack vectors.

Bitcoin on the other hand is stuck on the 1 MB blocksize for years now and can not reach concensus with its community / developers / miners about raising that to 2 MB size or higher.
(thats why Bitcoin Cash was created). SegWit is just a temp solution, once transactions and volume pick up pace Bitcoin will again hit a ceiling and will be unable to scale any further.
Lightning Network needs a lot more testing before Bitcoin dev are assured its safe to let loose on mainnet and it will come with additional risks (risks in the form of decreased security,
increased centralization and higher transaction fees).

The market's reaction to this update's Very Bad News (hidden in an invasive Google .pdf) speaks for itself.  Mr. Market is saying "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!"  

Another flash crash today! It’s not looking good for dash at all. I think big masternode owners are selling off too. This isn’t just about a bear market any more, there must be an underlying problem specifically with dash, it’s just plummeting hard

Masternode owners are not happy because for the last 3 years Dash Clown Group Inc has consistently over-promised and under-delivered on everything from Masternode blinding to Evolution.  They don't even have an ETA for the ETA for a roadmap update, despite Nathan Marley claiming one would be made by the end of June.

This practice of selective disclosure of market-sensitive information regarding "Dash and the SEC" is unethical and illegal (IOW par for the Dash scam course).

Poloniex is most likely updating to Dash latest software version. I doubt this is related to the stress testing as other exchanges (who have far more Dash traded volume) are working just fine.
This just concerns Dash deposits and withdrawals, Dash trading itself does not seem effected as the trading chart is not frozen : https://cryptowat.ch/markets/poloniex/dash/btc/4hr
and the trade history is also up to date.

To tungfa : maybe someone from the Dash Core-Team who has an official contactperson with Poloniex can check with them, see if they need some help or can provide us with some additional info?

Dash has been frozen on Polo for more than 24 hours.  That's not normal "updating" and neither is the ominous silence from Polo.  It appears the cargo cult's try-hard crapflood of transactions (obviously designed to scream "ZOMG LOOK AT DASH IT HAS MAOR TX THAN BITCOIN WOW VERY SCALING") broke something in a major exchange's Dash infrastructure.  So much for Macrochip's blatant falsehoods about how "users don't even notice" this result of a stress test during an upgrade.  If I was a Dash bagholder waiting to get my Dash off Polo and start up a Masternode, I'd certainly notice something has been going wrong for over a day.

Too bad paying Clown Group Inc's $520,000 in back taxes is a higher priority than funding the Dash Help Desk.
