Hi as a programmer how can I help where should I start?
Does BTCS have any IRC channels?

Hi as a programmer how can I help where should I start?
I think you're completely in the wrong thread. You must have edited your post because prior to me hitting reply you said "does BTCD have an IRC?" This thread has absolutely nothing to do with BTCD. This is the DarkCoin thread and BTCD is about as far removed from what DarkCoin is any altcoin can possibly be. Also, in your previous post you mentioned writing code that could "spam FB". Again, I think you're in the wrong place. That's absolutely not what we do here. Search Bitcointalk on BTCD to go to the place you're looking for.

You are seriously lost. This is DRK, nothing to do with BTCS or BTCD.

Yep Im lost, this is the second time too A couple of tips that might help you get taken more seriously (if you're claiming to have programming skills) It's very easy to find the correct thread on Bitcointalk. Simply put the coin you're looking for and "bitcointalk" into Google. I'm not a programmer but if you follow what I've just said you get these results: "btcs bitcointalk" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=318253.0"btcd bitcointalk" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=684090.0(and also, prior to you editing your post, you asked about "weather" something was available. weather = the phenomena in the atmosphere, wind, rain, clouds, etc "I hope the weather is good for the baseball game" whether = the potential or alternative state of two or more things "The baseball game will be played whether it is raining or not")

Hi! Is there any information about how DarkSend+ will enlarge blockchain’s size? As I understand, with Bitcoin we have only 1 blockchain’s record per 1 transaction, but with Darksend+ we need to have: 1) Several records for every receiving=denominating (if we have several darksend’s rounds - number of records will be multiplied). 2) Several records for every spending (because we have several denominated addresses for spending).
So won’t DRK blockchain be bloated too much?

There was some talk about "summary blocks", which afaik would be a block which would list all unspent outputs but dunno how feasible that would be as the block would probably be hundreds of megabytes in size after everyone has anonymized (Bitcoin has something like 10 million unspent outputs, someone please verify). After every 1,000 or 10,000 blocks you'd have to download a huge block which would potentially take hours even if you'd normally stay synced 24/7. Maybe the summary blocks could be chained (summaryblockchain lol), every summary block containing only the diff to the previous one or w/e. What could also be interesting, is the mini-blockchain, but dunno how that would compare to summary blocks. If someone else has a clue, please chime in.

After open source the big whales will be able to trust darkcoin. I'm absolutely sure that the price will rise at least 5 times .

Coingateway Voting (i checked in with them regarding the old vote and the results, as DRK was way up there) they say: They had a voting for new coins in place some month ago, BUT due to cheating (too many people voted from the same ip addresses) they are working on a new voting system for a revote Will keep you posted when they open the new vote

OK MN setup question :I am on a MAC using setup guide: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/masternode-setup-guide-using-os-x-local-linux-remote.1776/- Have server running - 1k in Wallet and now i am stuck as i do not understand how to create the darkcoin.conf file ! I have no Linux .... my Terminal on MAC does not understand these commands bellow ? what do i use for this Step 6: While we are waiting for the needed 6 confirmations of our 1000 DRK transfer, we can now prepare the remote server Once logged in, download the current set of Darkcoin files. Code: cd ~ wget https://github.com/darkcoinproject/darkcoin-binaries/raw/master/rc/darkcoin-0.10.12.31-linux.tar.gzUnpack the contents of the file, copy darkcoind, and then set permissions. Code: tar xfvz darkcoin-0.10.12.31-linux.tar.gz cp darkcoin-0.10.12.31-linux/bin/64/darkcoind darkcoind chmod 755 darkcoind Before we launch darkcoind, we need to create a configuration file. Code: cd ~/darkcoin nano darkcoin.conf Once open, you'll want to insert the following text. Code: rpcuser=<enter any user name> rpcpassword=<enter any long password> rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 listen=1 server=1 ......>>> PS: can i use my old darkcoin.conf file ? (as i am migrating my server from one location to another with Amazon) >>??
